Wow, what a great machine! They sure did make a lot of equipment based on Fordson tractor power. I’d use that grader right now on my driveway. It’s wonderful to see a 100 year old machine that is fully functional and useful.
Great video! Awesome seeing the old time equipment getting started and operational and useful! Good job to the operator. Looks like a pro! Thank you for sharing this video!
I remember these' my county had one' it was the only grader scraper in the county. We lived 7 miles up a dirt road and was the last road to be scrapped in January of 1937 when a big snow had hit lasting 2 1/2 days accumulating an average of 18" of snow fall and snow drifts up to 6' in certain areas of our county. They would not scrap our road unless they're was someone's walking in front of the scraper' one on each side of the road to avoid running the scraper into the ditches' my grandparents lived at the end of the road' our house was the last one before theirs. My grandmother and myself were the ones to walk in front of the grader' none of the other neighbors volunteered to help so it was left up to us to take on the task of doing so. Once the grader operator had made it to the end of our road and turned around he gave me a lift and dropped me off in front of my school before going on with scraping the local church parking lots etc. I was 8 years old at that time.
I live 15 miles from Galion, Ohio. I worked a few years at Gledhill Road Machinery building snowplows for state, county and township trucks.Huber and Galion were the graders of choice locally. AL B.
Not only that, but you have to operate the device all mechanically without any assistance, You have to control everything manually with gears. The engine of this machine has only one thing that help the machine move, not any power steering or hydraulic system to assist the operator at all
Interesting machine. When I was a kid we had a pull behind Galion with a 9 foot blade and a long dirt drive way. We pulled it with a 720 John Deere . I was at the back with those lifting wheels. If my older brother irritated me , I would burry the blade and stall out the tractor. I wonder what your machine was designed for ? It looks to be more of a maintenance machine than a rough construction tool, especially with the smooth drive wheels.
I guess its still got a few good years left in it so no need to buy the newer model at this time. Interesting video. Greetings from Port Saint Lucie, Florida !
Are you saying that grader weighs SIXTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS?????? The tractor itself weighs a bit less than 3 thousand pounds leaving 13 THOUSAND pounds for the grader itself. I just don't see 16,000 lbs.
It doesn’t get much cooler than this! If I were the operator I’d never be able to wipe the smile off my face.

Excellent! You'll know you've done something at the end of the day!
Very kool. When the New England Rock Busters got together several years ago, there were two that looked like that. Good Luck, Rick

Freaking awesome man.
Brought a tear to my eye to see a young man Cut that gravel like a old timer.☝️ Big Love From Virginia ❤️ Jesus Saves Us All 🔥 I submitted 👍
modern operators would literally cry if you told them they had to stand all day in the elements like that on the machine lol

Standing all day, on that would really test your strength. Especially when it has a seat.

Przèsło od mostu zajumali i wielkie mi chalo

Criativo...
I've seen a couple pull behind models with the same controls but the self propelled is really cool, need to be an orangutan to operate it.
I need a set of those front wheels ! Mainly a set of the hard rubber tires. Know of any?
If that's not cool, then what is! Looks like it could of been recycled from a bridge. Thanks for sharing. Got my thumbs up
Where you plug in computer scan tool ?

Para ligar a máquina já parece bem perigoso, trabalhar com ela então deve ser como uma roleta russa...😂
Sure were busy
It was not very much hydraulic at this time like the are too day
If "one man power", then what's this whirring?
Hey don't take it for granite
