i added a texture in photoshop to the exported texture form C4D but when i apply it to the model i have it shows the white seam lines

i must be missing something or did i miss any of those step? cause i can't do layer->create new layer. It's inaccessible
save texture as is greyed out for me, as are the other options on that menu. Anyone else get this?
I think the relax didn't work in some cases and made it worse in others.
Yea it didn't do what I was expecting.
