Turns out our smell was coming from the vent (used on mobile homes) under the bathroom sink. The rubber gasket had gotten old and wasn't sealing any longer, leaking that septic gas. Screwed in a new one; problem solved. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
Great advice! (9-1/2 reason... mildew on shower curtain). We hang a shower curtain inside the shower so we don't ever need to clean or fight water spots on the glass shower doors. We too are on a septic tank so we cannot put bleach down the drains or into the septic (septic tanks work off bacteria), so the baking soda trick is a great tip. Thank you.

Hello! Great video. Question; what signs would one hv to let you know that you hv a blocked vent? I think that might be my issue. I have cleaned & cleaned these bathrooms… I still smell urine after a little while!! It’s driving me crazy!! We bought this house 6 mos ago, I have had it professionally cleaned, still smell urine. It’s coming from the inside of the bowl and these toilets don’t appear to be old. My husband mentioned he felt like gases seeped back in through toilet, but couldn’t confirm it or knew how to fix it. Because seems like it gives more urine smell when you urine….and I know that sounds weird lol but it’s like gas is released once that toilet water is compromised. Please tell me you know what I’m talking about lol!!!
Ugh that thumbnail almost took me out!! I have OCD and bathrooms freak me out for gooood reason!! Oh no you didn’t just take out that drain with bare hands!?!!! Oh Lord I may never come back!!
I moved into a guest house and the shower drainage just smells like pee 😭 if I clean the shower pipe. The next morning pee aroma comes up from there :(
Ceiling vent/fan dropping black specs and brown spots on popcorn ceiling. Bathroom smells like sewage. The fan doesn't work. It's only in 1 bathroom. It's a mobile home and no attic.
2 or 3 boys standing around the toilet is like having a sword fight. Lol. That's how those Army guys are. They like to have "sword" fights in the barracks , if you know what I mean....
@@helenweatherby1694 Is was found the 9yo boy was working as a cylinder maker in the 1950s, somehow he was sealed inside and then used for about 40 years, how the extra weight went unnoticed is bizzare, I suspect it was someting to do with the Pruszkow, or what would would become that group

You can also spray Odor Ban near the toilet and that does get rid of pee smell.
