Happy 6 Months!!!! June marked my 6th month as well. Your hair looks great. To help with frizz I tie my hair down at night with a silk scarf and it has helped a lot. I look forward to your next video. Take care
Gorgeous! Try to be patient and know that you are transitioning from loose natural to mature locks. The friziness will pass once they fully mature. I am over 4 years locked, I use to wear a lot of headwraps, which helped distract me from obsessing over the changes/ stages locking process. I also feel that it is the best hair decision I ever made. I self retighten which gives me total hair freedom. Not even the lock down was an issue to me. Have you tried misting your hair with rose water and vitamin E oil, for moisture? Enjoy, ever step of the process 👸🏽👑
@@ambyressence youre so welcome i truly love your content and will continue to watch and follow along and thank you! I never win anything lol this is so exciting!
Angela Elaine thank you! That makes me feel better. I feel like my locs have been bouncier/springier and maybe even a little bit shinier in the past though.
Ebony hey girl! 😊 with locs as new as yours, I wouldn’t be misting them as often as that. I would shoot for misting once a day or once every other day. At the beginning of the journey, it’s soooo hard to adjust to not putting anything on your hair! But misting new locs that often could cause unraveling or at the very least, slow the locking process. Eventually your hair will adjust to not having products on it. Just make sure to drink water ❤️
AmbyrEssence Thank you so much for replying. I feel so lost right now not being able to do anything to my hair. It feels so wrong. 😂 But your videos really help! Please don’t stop posting content. You’re appreciated and needed. 😊
A. Kms I haven’t tried that! I’m sure that would help so much 😩 but my consultant is having me avoid all products, including topical oils, for another 6 months or so.
Portia Mckinney Bunching doesn’t necessarily mean your consultant is doing something wrong. If your hair’s curl pattern is looser, then it’s not uncommon to see bunching. Your consultant should be fixing/repairing it as it occurs though! If she’s not, I would ask her to or find a different consultant.

D.v.c. p thank youu! 🥳
That looks likes hair that was shed within the lock. You avoid it by frequent reties
Your sisterlocks look awesome!
Milana Dover thank you! ❤️
Your locs don’t look dry to me. I see sheen to them. They aren’t supposed to look like loose natural.
Angela Elaine thank you! That makes me feel better. I feel like my locs have been bouncier/springier and maybe even a little bit shinier in the past though.
Angela Elaine , you are so right.💯
Looks so good! Do you still only have 350?
What could you do about Bunche
My locs are almost a month old. I’ve been missing them twice a day. Is this bad? I’m afraid of causing slippage but i don’t want my locks to be dry.

Have you tried hot oil treatments? It may help a little bit?

Do u ever use gel on your edges
I used to, but I don’t anymore. I find that most gels dry my edges out so bad it’s not even worth it. I just leave my edges alone at this point 😊
Your Sisterlocks looks great.
Jean G. Thanks Jean!😊
