honestly i find his character adorable either way, as orchid obviously hes very cute, especially him walking around while holding his skirts 😹 but as himself hes also cute in a way like how he complained about his bitter medicine, how he always asks ‘why?’ , how orchid had to teach him to smile lol

With good director, great co-actors, and of course the amazing production teams, it really brought out a different side of Dylan. His acting has improved a lot! You’ll notice it even more if you watch his first drama now 🤭

One of the very rare fantasy c-dramas I really enjoyed to the fullest. Watched it twice to get all the nice little details. One of the best demon kings / devils I have seen so far in the last years. Very hard to let it go. Just wish they had the time and budget for some more episodes before the grand finale. The end was ok but a bit too hurried. Besides, the scene with the tongue click and eye roll, too funny. He got the pouting right.
I think this was the best role for dylan. He did superb in this drama. I wish there was a season 2. I would watch it just to see them together.

I am watching it the 3rd time around, but each time had different feelings and absorptions. I am not a professional associated with any entertainment business. The first round I was more focused on the storyline or plot and then the 2nd time around, I could pay more attention to the acting skills, script characters and all the other stuffs associated with the drama. I actually enjoyed it more the 2nd time around. I totally agreed with all the comments by the professionals in the industry. I don't know much, just enjoying my entertainment, especially the chemistry the ML and FL created as a cp pair on screen, truly amazing what they had brought to the drama....
Are you me ? i did the same for the 1st and 2nd watch, but i watch the 3rd time solely to watch Dylan Wang's handsome face 🤭 because i don't have to read the subtitle anymore and i already knew what they're talking about. His face, his hairstyle, his costume, his acting, all are perfect.

I actually had skipped some scenes (not episodes) and was watching it much more focused on the ML and the romantic scenes between the ML and the FL, so far enjoying it..... lol
@@auntjade5354 yup, i skip all the supporting role scene and just watch Dylan's and main couple's scenes. I just can't move on from them. I even repeat some of their scenes like 10 times 🤣🤣🤣

@@auntjade5354 fun fact : i already downloaded all the ost songs and play them when i'm about to sleep and when i was working, so about a few hours a day now, for i don't know how many days 😂😂 the ost are so good, the opening ost is my favourite, i replay it for almost 3 hours when i have it in my phone. It's unhealthy, i'm obsessed with everything in this drama 🤭

They are both so adorable. I'm savoring this drama and watching only a couple of episodes every couple of weeks. I usually binge but this one is too good to rush.
This drama was the best Asian drama I watched last year. Dark hero done right, lighting, costumes, the wigs, a genuinely charming heroine, the CGI, the acting, the comedy: all brilliant! It suffered in terms of plot and structure towards the end but overall, truly enjoyable!❤

Even down to how the clothes get worn, that is some excellent actoring.
Watching the body swap now, I soo wished the team could have more time into the ending - even an Easter egg of them body swapping for fun with clipbits of their daily life in Shuiyuntian or Cangyanhai would have tied up the story in a circle, and you know I gobble up full circles like a kid with ice cream 😋
