Recently there was a comment asking about how to approach coming back to Bharatanatyam after a long break and how to manage the pain. This warm up routine video originated from that.
Warm up is something which is very personal and differs from person to person and what kind of dancing is going to follow. This particular routine helps me get all parts of my body ready to dance.
Some people suggest to do work out part by part- as in all cardios together then all stretches.. what works for me is mixing them as any one part of my body doesn’t get worn out or tired as this is just preparation for dancing.
Be consistent and you will see results:)
