A crazy busy afternoon in Downtown Canmore , the most beautiful Mountain Town of Canada 🇨🇦.

The Town of Canmore, Alberta,Canada, one of the most beautiful mountain towns in Canada 🇨🇦, probably in the whole world. It was a Saturday afternoon walking tour in downtown Canmore, 12th June 2021, while we were still under partial covid restrictions. City was very crowded with happy tourists, mostly domestic tourists because all international nonessential travel still not permitted. It was a very beautiful, lovely, sunny,warm & happy day in Canmore. We had good times in there.

I visited family here in '85. Beautiful town and scenery. Saw people training for '88 Olympics. Ate at The Rose And Crown. Visited the cemetery with the hoodoos.

The Live Video is from the main intersection where the horse statue is right in the centre of the intersection.
I was thinking the street was closed for some sort of Festival or Celebration.
But it seems to be closed everyday.
Definitely a Very Beautiful Town.

This place definitely reminds me a bit of some small American ski resort towns. Telluride, Steamboat, Breck, Ketchum.. I've been looking at leaving SLC and the US for sometime. Calgary and AB in general were a natural starting point but Canmore seems to right up my alley.

Canmore is the same size population as Park City but has less Stores and much cheaper than prices in Park City.

I live in Edmonton, my family visited Canmore and loved it! such a laid back place with natuee and not too much cars. We havr been working remotely even before pandemic. We thinking of moving here for a change. Anyone else did this leap?

Looking at this during winter and we've been there a number of times.
Going to stay there in about a month for 3 nights, (prices for hotels are calling). We never get sick of it. Absolutely love this, wish I could afford a home there. One of the best towns in Alberta hands down. Thank you for sharing.

its one of the most beautiful towns in Canada. not the most beautiful. there is a lot more to explore.
