You should absolutely be proud of your review of this book. You did an incredible job of summarizing what the book was about without actually getting into any plot spoilers. Truly threading a needle. Terrific job. If I hadn’t already read the book, this review would definitely make me want to read the book.
I'm not familiar with Bill Burr but someone (I forget who) described this book as a middle-aged version of Judy Blume's "Are You There God, It's Me Margaret".
This book is "The emperor's new clothes". There is really nothing behind it but the reviews go crazy. The storyline is ridiculous. All written for effect and this is so boring.
So she is a good wife and mother who lies to her family for selfish reasons. She then ignores her marital vows and has sexual affairs. But she is still that good person. 😜. Okay.
I cannot understand why this got a Book Award. Authors description of masterbation is absolutely not erotic and absolutely repulsive. Sure discussions on menopause. etc, I guess are important to discuss but women I’ve known never had an issue discussing the topic. Overall, the books best part was when she took the road trip to NYC. She describes the experience in a very hallucinatory manner. Very Psychedelic and cool. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Thank you for sharing your treasures, feel like I've struck gold finding you.
Sounds like an incredible book, great title too, must search this one out. Thanks for such an engaging & careful review.
I also recently read this book and I loved it! I keep thinking about it 😊
The protagonist has a strange marriage. She can’t be herself with her husband so has no real intimacy with him.
😊❤
Excellent review. Loved the book.
thank you! i just finished it. i love your review!! this book made me think.
Thank you. X
This was very generous
I would love to make Bill Burr read this book🤣 and then review it. This is like a coming of age book about a 45 year old.

It is indeed a very divisive book.
Pure psycho/social hogwash.

All Fours is a work of fiction. It is a creation of the author's imagination.
