    Great video! I’m heading that way next week, out of curiosity you like free lining the shiners? No float?

      You can definitely use a float, no harm in that. I would recommend a float if you are casting further than 5 yards and can't see them. In my case, I wasn't because I was able to watch the fish eat the shiners.

      Thanks for the suppport! Canals are great too, this was a neighborhood pond in Fort Lauderdale area

      @JC Fishin canals are great! I've never run across a canal in Ft. Lauderdale that I could sight fish like this pond though. Haha
      Is that exact neighborhood pond location going to remain a mystery, or can I get a pro tip of its whereabouts from some great anglers like you? 🤔

    How do you know it's a male. My grandson ic fishing caught two bullseye and a peacock up in broward. How can you tell if it a male? He used a different hook then you but he did use a shiner. His peacock was big. He has a TH-cam channel ic fishing

      Hey there, male peacock bass have a large hump on their head, females do not. Hope that helps and I appreciate the support!
