I should have mentioned it in the video but your frame can be changed by clicking the number showing your level in the top right. It will bring up a menu showing all the ones you have to choose from
For the dog, also us the "Ammo Expert" ascension as it recovers ammo every second while duel wielding with a chance not to consume any ammo at all. I constantly held down fire and wasn't close to losing all my ammo.
I just completed the Crown prince and it's not too bad if you understand how it works; I'll fill you in on what I did. You NEED LVL 3 on chain Duration. You need at least LVL 2 on your ascension that gives you more secondary skills (you might be able to do it with level 1 but i was unable too even though i kept getting soooo close). I did this on Reincarnation 1 with Over Consumption but you could probably be fine doing this on elite (I just thought it was easier this way, your pick). Try to get scrolls that reduce cooldown for secondary and then all you do is COUNT OUT LOUD. I shot chain and counted 1 one-thousandths to 6 then chained again. Then I counted to 4 and then chained again. Then I counted to 2 and chained again. Make sure to kill all the spawns and do it on an elite that doesn't move around a lot or do a lot of dmg to you. You can change how many 1-thousandths you count base on how fast you count in your head or out load. You'll get the feel for it and adjust accordingly. I did like doing it on a harder difficulty with the over consumption on because I was able to do it on the same boss for like 5 minutes until i got the timing right without accidentally killing it. DO NOT put anything else on your chain like elemental dmg, extra dmg, etc. All you care about is cool down reduction and how many you can cast. ALSO, do not damage the Elite between casts because it will reduce the length of the chain (it has a hidden counter based on dmg, it can free them earlier). This is all the information i was able to gather from multiple sources and attempts. I hope ya'll get it. EDIT: ALSO... and your going to hate this... but I did the first chest and kept resetting until I got at least one of the 2 ascensions before going any further. I noticed the game likes to level you the same ascension more if you have gotten at least 1 point into it. this might be me just being weird but it worked for me, prob like 10 resets and 3 solid playthroughs. good luck!
About Qian Sui....i recommend to play with friends cause more player = more scroll from vaults, more scroll = high chances for any scroll that improve movements speed
Qian Sui is out of date. Rogue Wave no longer gives stacks. You get +1 stack for each meter traveled but they're doing something to keep you walking areas you already walked to build up stacks. I found that a second lap in one of those bigger rooms in Act 1 wouldn't let me get past 15 stacks but the first loop I was over 90. If you get one level of Gradual Ascension (+1m dash, gain 4 stacks) you can dash around one of the bigger areas in Act 1 (normally one or two before the boss) just dash a lap around the room and punch something. It only took me like 10 minutes to get his.
with the Reicarnation Perk that gives you the base 20 stacks of Fist Sensation I was just barely able to get to 80 with Surge and Lvl 1 Rogue wave plus a couple Movement speed scrolls its possible! with lvl 1 rogue wave
That's good to know, I was making sure all of these were accessible for normal difficulty (Asides tiger ofc) so its possible for new players but that makes it much easier for anyone with rein unlocked
It is doable without reincarnation blessings. You just need the propulsion device (triple dash) and the ascention that gives you fist sensation stacks on hurtle. It got up to 100 for me with this combo. I was playing on elite with some lower level friends. Also you don't need to hit an enemy, I just canceled the aspis at 100 stacks and got the frame.
@@petarsisko5638 Re-rolled till i got the blessing and got the frame first try. I also had a broken run with getting 2 speed scrolls, +3 rogue at the ends of act II. Good call. Ended up hitting 130 instead of 80 lol.

I can't even get Energy Chain with maxed Chained Duration and maxed Power Source. Elites seem to break out in about 4 seconds on the first one, then 3, and then faster than the cooldown between orbs (less than a second)
damage to the enemy causes the effect to break earlier. Throw 1 orb and then try to time hitting the 2nd orb just before the effect end. Do not shoot at all in the meantime
@@gamogi7142 Fire elemental effect might do, if you have power source you do need to be careful. Using more orbs can also cause the elite to break out faster since they have diminishing returns. I found out more about the orb freeze after making this video, I could have explained it better if I knew as much as I do now. Since the cooldown works out almost perfectly with the freeze ending it might be easiest with just 3 points in chained duration.
@@bryankerns8609 freeze time I think was changed in a patch after this video was release. I think it is now based on how long the enemy is frozen for. I imagine this should make the challenge easier
Qing Yan aka the bird graciously counts the enemies killed before you get the easy kill ascension as of some update. If you didn't know there is a counter in the bottom left listing the damage buff to cleave. I thought it needed 3k kills but the counter (+5 damage X kill) only needs to reach 3000 damage buff so 600 kills.
About crown prince, I tried to get the 10 seconds of freeze on an elite corrupt monk. I had 3 stacks of chained duration and 2 stacks of power source, so it should've worked fine. But when I threw another energy orb to keep him from breaking out, it looked like he ignored it as less than a second later he unfroze. Why did this happen?
This is the one most people have had troubles with. In my unlock I only had 3 points in chained duration and the cooldown worked out perfectly to get a 2nd lock for the achievement so it might be easier without power source. From what I understand about orbs its duration has diminishing returns and it is also reduced by dealing damage. Once the enemy is locked make sure to leave it alone
@@chappllgr do you also have skill cooldowns maxed out in the talents tree? I'm a new player so I'm not there yet But regardless, I ended up getting it by getting 3 stacks of chained duration and power source and mashing all 5 remaining charges as the first one was nearing its end thankfully I appreciate you responding so quickly! (Even if I got it with dumb luck anyways)

For anybody looking for answers, understand that the elite CANNOT be unchained at ANY point, it has to be chained for 10 consecutive seconds. So, throw the first orb, count to 5, then spam the remaining 5 charges and you'll get it.
ur not it's literally impossible to get using that method i've done the same thing several times and won the game after doing so and still doesn't unlock
unfortunately i successfully obtained lvl 3 for luminous and shadow for the bunny and once i released a fully stacked swords out, it doesnt give the achievement.. this is the second time this happened . sadly the last achievement im missing as well so im hard stuck due to this bug. unless theres something im not understanding here, any help would be nice
That is very strange if you had lvl 3 of both. Maybe there's some kind of bug in recent patches but I'm afraid I havent heard of that happening before with this achievement :(
@@Vanatica535 Yeah if it's happening to both of you that sounds like a new bug. Usually tao border is one of the easier ones to get since you don't even need rank 3 of both ascensions. I submitted a report, hopefully this gets fixed
I didn't mention this but try to always be consuming ammo, even out of combat. As long as you don't leave big gaps in shooting then you won't let the duel wield timer get too low and it's easy to keep up for the full 300 seconds
Some others here have said about having problems with taos sword dance achievement unfortunately. Are you on gamepass version? I think its bugged on there :(
That's really annoying :( apparently it's much harder to put patches out on consoles compared to steam, the game pass version sounds really buggy in general right now. I hope the devs will deal with most of the issues in a single patch, it's a shame the launch has been so rocky for game pass.
I don't know if it's because I'm in reincarnation but I can't do the crown prince one. I have 3 points in duration and even 1 extra cast from my ascensions but each cast lasted drastically less, so even three casts couldn't do it, even though it's meant to last 6 seconds, the 3rd cast lasted for about...0.5 seconds by the looks of it
Crown prince seems to be the one most people have a hard time with, I never had these problems with my unlock but I think these problems are from orb having diminishing returns. Casting too many orbs or dealing damage to the enemy can reduce the time they are locked. With chained duration 3 and no additional cdr/damage for orb, wait for a full orb cooldown then cast again just as the cooldown ends and the timing should work

I played the game like, last week and had a tao run where i got luminous heart and sword shadow maxed in one run, used all 9 stacks and didn't get the frame still, I dunno if me playing on xbox changed anything but i'm very annoyed. do all 45 swords have to hit a target or something?
But does it work on Xbox bc so far I’ve done the dog frame the tiger one with the snipers and the falcos easy stacks not a single one of these unlocked I hear the bugs are crazy on console hell we don’t have the dlc characters I believe
There seems to currently be a bug with unlocking the border for Tao. I've submitted a report to the devs but not much I can suggest for now sadly :( hopefully this is sorted soon
For the dogs 1 i had the dual wield active for about 10 mins i think i glitched it unintentionally does it matter what difficulty your on for the others apart from the bird and tiger? I just completed that dog run and i didnt get the frame
Been having the same problem with the dog. I timed it and even went to 6 minutes just to make sure and I still didn't get it. But if game pass is glitch then that is maybe why I am not getting it
I ended up getting it by accident. I did this on Nightmare, so it's possible to do without any spiritual blessings. Go for Irrepressible Surge and as many levels of Rogue Wave you can find. Once you get a kill during aspis, just spam hurtles and punch. If there are enough enemies around, you'll collect a ton of stacks by spamming hurtle. Edit: I wrote this before getting to the Qian Sui section of the video. Didn't realize I was just saying the same stuff he said lol

I've used swords out multiple times with 3 stacks in LH and SS and still don't have the border. Is this a bug or am I just stupid

got to ACT 4 Final Boss 3x times now, spent 7 hours for all my tries I just cant get it... I'll just quit Tiger. So annoying honestly.

yep thats fine, it would be a pretty horrible challenge to complete if you couldnt use skills. The only restriction is the weapons you use
You can also get Taos 45 swords with the help of her Q, her "Blade of Bloom" talent also counts towards it
easy kill applies to the entire run, dont need to get it as early as possible, can get it as your very last ascension and still get the frame
This was before they changed it to count all Cleave kills. Before it only counted after you got Easy Kill.
