CORRECTION: the Pilgrims didn't name it "Plimouth" ... It was already named that based on a map by Captain John Smith a few years earlier.

On November 11, 1620, the legendary Pilgrim-filled Mayflower arrived just off the coast of Cape Cod and the rest, as they say, is history. Find out more about America's beginnings on Aerial America: Massachusetts bit.ly/1z4JAWC

Actually 105 aboard the Mayflower, three pregnant women. The "pillars" of the Pilgrims that gave us the laws and culture of our country were Jesus Christ and Him crucified and risen. We have the blessing of their sacrifice and faith in the establishment of our country and you now enjoy those blessings but do you have the blessing of salvation by Christ, for these days are fleeting and then you'll be faced with eternity?

Many of them also died before The First Thanksgiving Dinner. Houses were more like one room small cabins back then, and the winter, lack of food, and only 6 to take care of the sick who were still healthy when the ship landed. It wasn't easy for them to get past the first year, and they were supposed to land in Jamestown, Virginia. However, that never happened.

Of course, The European Persecutions, John Smyth, and The Roman Catholic Churches fined people for going to Protestant Churches. Times were definitely very different then.

Brian T parent, the Pilgrims. were "separatists" who were persecuted by the Angelacan church as well as the Catholics because the Pilgrims believed both were not obeying scripture.

@@brianparent They buried their dead in unmarked graves lest the local Native Americans noticed their depletion and were tempted to attack them.

@@brianparent In which country are you saying Roman Catholics fined citizens for going to protestant churches?
Surely not in England where in 1559 Parliament passed a law abolishing the mass and requiring citizens to swear oaths affirming the supremacy of the crown over the one legitimate church, the Church of England; because, apparently God’s vicar on earth should be a philandering monarch who murdered wives if they weren’t properly fecund. In England it was illegal to be a Catholic priest and many were hunted down and viciously murdered.
Religious persecution for the type of Christian you were was not the exclusive practice of Catholics as your one-sided comment would suggest. But your comment is useful to remind us that an imposition of a Christian religion as the one state religion would first have to settle on which of the many denominations should be favored. And we are not speaking about differences that exist only on the margins amongst these denominations, but instead theological differences that cause some denominations to label others as heretics, demotics, not really Christians.
How about you. Do you want to see the US be legally defined as a Christian nation and, if so, which sect and why?

I’m only giving you this: he’s racist (myself, as Holy Spirit), about me. As events unfold involving fire, where populations escape with nothing else, from buildings, planes, whole neighborhoods, etc., it will make sense that nothing of the 2000 year contribution will ever matter. In fact, it’s… next… savior, the child, closest to me, starved, cried out from that and coldness, and visions from also the worst abused mother herself, due to persecution. I won’t tell you how or how racist, but only he will know as Cupid in heaven “by the way, he wasn’t”. Anyone else or further reliance would betray God’s ability to ever could fathom the science of evil and simply pure evil changing to a worse horror than all of picture books, speaking about caring for animals and eternity. How could I have helped in any above average respects? Only God can.
This is important: I give you only 3 things for yourselves, and they are nothing of a literally purely voided sophisticated ability like some pawns in heaven ever dreamed or dared to: freedom, autonomy, and rights including self-respect. Nothing I’ll ever add as meaning or sense will be true, nor could save anyone or anything.
In the numbest greater than poorest thinking as an angel in heaven affirmed in long erased difficulties that would boil me uncreatively away but as it all from nothing, amen. The risk was hope, my own, of then meeting someone, like it would start something. I stated that people used infinite so I couldn’t hate as a wasted by torture nature… … I didn’t think you knew but confusingly after nonstop of their bs.
I’m racist by birth after a long long stretch of it.

As more Europeans came and the White population grew, hundreds of thousands of Native Americans died.
