I love Dynasty so much. This show has inspired people to be at their best, in their fashion, in their lifestyle, and in their behaviour. Bravo to all the team!!!
@@ForeverCarrington I totally understand. I always tear up when I think of him. He seemed like a very humble upstanding kind of guy. I could have seen him as a great leader well not in this corrupted world. I think he was so precious.
Cette homme était extraordinairement beau!!!!!! Vraiment très beau !!! ❤ et j'ai appris qu'il était aussi une belle personne ! Quel domage de perdre un homme si beau et précieux 🙏😔
As a kid, I was so delighted with myself when I realized that he was Charlie. I was watching Dynasty, which I started watching at a bit too young and thought, "wait a minute!" I'm rewatching Dynasty right now and he''s the best.
Such a hansome fellow. The older he got th more handsome he became . .Always reminded me of my dad on Dynasty that father figure . .Beautiful voice beautiful face x.
I couldn't agree more. I loved John Forsythe for more than just his acting. Joan Collins and Linda Evans were so lucky they got to have kissing scenes with him on Dynasty.
I actually had the opportunity to work with Mr. Forsythe in the mid 90's. He was working on a documentary about horse jockey Bill Shoemaker while in Tulsa, Ok. He was the most kind, genuine and thoughtful person (not actor) that I have ever met - excluding my own dad. The picture of us is one of my most cherished memories of those days in the media business, RIP Mr. Forsythe... say 'hi' to my dad for me.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I love hearing from people who actually knew John and they all say what a nice man he was, something I never get tired of reading about. I just wish I could have met him.
@@ForeverCarrington You are so welcome.... I worked with people like George Lindsay (Goober) Tom Poston, George Wendt (NORM!), Steve Allen, David Carradine (Kung Foo) and Colleen Dewhurst. He LOVED the 'Sport of Kings'!!!
I love this man, he gave me so much to look forward to as Blake Carrington on Dynasty. And as the iconic Charlie in Charlie's Angels. Love you Blake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I echo Joan's sentiments, grateful thanks to his family for their contribution enabling us to see them and more of their wonderful father, a true gentleman, loved by many but for whom at the end of the day his wife and family came first!
A touching story I read: In his latter years, he received a letter destined to another actor, I believe Burt Reynolds. He kindly took the time to reply, saying that there was a slight error, and it was the house of John Forsythe. The note was very kind, class act.
I JUST BOUGHT THE FIRST SEASON AT WALMART, I have not seen it in years, my mother loved this show like Dallas. LOL I was 12 when it started. Brings me to tears because it brings back great memories. John was my grandfathers age too.
I hope you enjoy watching it. John is fabulous. The writing of the show deteriorates as it goes along, but he is wonderful throughout. The chemistry he has with Linda Evans is amazing.
Alexis: "You heard'em, Blake. You're finished...you've lost everything, and I now own this house." Blake: "This house? Are you insane?" Alexis: "Oh no, I'm perfectly sane. So take this junk...and your blond tramp... and get out of my home." Blake: "You are insane. This isn't your house and it's never going to be!" Alexis: "Oh, you're so wrong. It's all mine, Blake, and I have the papers to prove it." LOVE me some Alexis Carrington-Colby! @32:32

John Forsythe also starred in "To Rome, With Love" (1969-71) (w/Walter Brennan, Kay Medford, Joyce Menges, Susan Neher, Melanie Fullerton). (Always one of my favorites!)

what an outstanding video about john's life, wife, movies/shows, co-workers, and what a special man he had. surprised/shocked where he played the murderous judge and he would have liked to have played more of them! Yeah it's like when a really great movie ends up having a cruddy sequel. The new Dynasty sucks. There's something missing and the actors try too hard to be classy and it's kind of bland.
I'm not sure what you're referring to. He always treated Linda well. They were lifelong friends. George Hamilton is the actor who didn't want to do love scenes with her after she kissed Rock.

that’s very well put
How refreshing to hear of an actor who made family a priority and honored his wife, it seems to be a rare occurrence in Hollyweird.

Yes! I could've listened to him read the telephone book and been happy.
What a lovely family man, so good to hear his story.
John become very handsome as he got older on Dynasty, looks attractive in grey hair , a loyal devoted loving husband very rare in Hollywood 🌟👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼

John Forsythe was one gorgeous man. I would have made out with him.
I didn’t know he was the voice of Charlie.
He was an Aquarius, but probably got a bit of Capricorn in him also.

This was a very interesting biography but they didn't explain why he changed his name.
good looking guy with a brain 😎 and no dark secrets. 😍
The REAL Blake Carrington!
The new "Dynasty"s Blake Carrington is an evil bastard and played by a bad actor, who dosen't do Blake Carrington justice..
Yeah it's like when a really great movie ends up having a cruddy sequel. The new Dynasty sucks. There's something missing and the actors try too hard to be classy and it's kind of bland.
Tried to watch the new Dynasty but it's 'nasty' and boring.
Why did he hate Joan Collins?
He probably found her personality too busy catty mouthy. He looks like he likes ladies to be soft strong and I'm guessing humble.
Jealousy because she stole the spotlight!
So if your Dad gives you the Bible, that should be all important. Where are the REAL Dads?
PLEASE don't die without JESUS in your heart! SOULS live FOREVER! 🙌🙏
One of the all-time worst actors on the screen, silver or small.
Idt he was that bad. It wasn't cool how he treated Linda Evans after her kiss with Rock Hudson, that was kinda cruel.

No he was not. John was a good actor not great but who cares.
