First saw Chris and his band at B.B.Kings in Memphis, 1992 , and have been a fan ever since..after the show, talking with one of the guys in the band, he noticed our accents and asked , where where we from. Told him from Eastern Ontario, Canada, on a motorcycle vacation specifically to go to BB's in Memphis, a 3 day ride, taking it easy !...He said that they'd played Ottawa, Ontario the week before !!! 1 hour from my town...
First heard Chris at “Bisquits and Blues” in San Francisco some years back and was floored by his talent. Met him at the end of the show. Real nice guy.
What a Blues Guitar LEGEND! Can't believe I only discovered his music via (one of the only good things about) YT 4 years ago! What a GENIUS TOTALLY should he up there with the greats!! 100% humble man!!... with so much talent!!.. Thanks for sharing! Wish I could see him live but I'm in London, hey ho.. Great man maybe I will one day could watch and listen to the guy play all day.. he can play ANYTHING and with ANYONE am I'd imagine 99% of the time is a better guitarist!! Listen carefully because Chris is still old school high level bluesman, somehow he never reached a Chris "King" level, but he plays so so so much that sometimes leaves me speachless ...... Freddy also does , SRV also, Hendrix also, buddy also, Albert Colins also, Gary Moore also,.......Cain is right up there at this level.
