@@BornWriter Thanks bro. Like you, I can remember that time when we had no mags, no internet and crap paint and all we wanted was to make fresh work. It's a great feeling to know that we made it!

@@CUTEMKUltras That we did man, when I think back Ive had 39 years in it this year and damn time has flown by and oh hell have we seen some changes mate no doubt about it. Its hard trying to explain what it was like and what a special time it was - but we shared that same era man and we came out of it into the new. There`s something really cool about knowing that there's more people out there that are still active and still holding their own. We can hold our heads up knowing that we have contributed to the scene that we have today - through all those late nights out n about - the paint collection service that we provided (haha a good way to describe it) the troubles and strife and hard learning with water in pressurized cans. Legends bro that's what we are.

@@BornWriter Yes mate, some of that was hard fought for. When I think about the times that I got picked up from home by the cops with my old man having to chaperone me because I was underage, endlessley having to stand in front of some fkr's desk after being told to explain myself and why I'd tagged my name all over something, suffering punishments for it etc etc. My parents used to tell me that I needed to knuckle down and do my school work and that graf wouldn't pay my bills. How wrong they were...

Years back I saw a crazy ridiculous exaggerated mini uzi sketch with a light beam, scope and few crazy big attachments on it. Was so cool. Loved that it basically stayed true to a gunn but wild at same time and not just some futuristic thing. I copied your style and sketched so many gunns that week. Years later I actually seen one of your videos. You have been one of my favorite artist since. Love your style. Like your characters can be very technical but u make them look much simpler because everything is just so super clean, big bold lines that are perfect. Ur colors are jaw dropping. Your style, just MHO, reminds me of New School tattooing. Jeez, I'm a 40yr old Fanboy. 🤦‍♂lol. I assume you use Alcohol markers, pricey ones I assume but could you recommend a very affordable pair that are ok/tolerable? lol. Almost all mine dried out. I've been drawing non stop, seems like, for the last 6 months. ((I'm working on 2 black books for my 2 kids, To think they will share with their kids and 100 yrs still being admired by family, is amazing)). All I have to do. I've been off work due to my health and I recently got the news that i wont be needing to/ able to go back to work. Cancer will end up winning this fight.. lol. Think i told you how i became a fan of yours and then kept going, lol, is because I heard your pain when you talked about the loss of your friend. U seem like a super cool dude and I'm sure you two painting together was amazing. You both were blessed to paint with such a talented and loyal friend/brother. Keep creating such cool dope art, and inspiring artist and people like me. PEACE✌✌👋

Thanks for the props bro, sorry to hear of your health troubles. Lost a good few friends over the past few years to that shit and it never gets easier.
Some good affordable alcohol markers are Ohuhu, although Ive never used them lot of people I know do. Any alcohol markers will do though, you can blend them all. I really want to do a budget marker video to show what you can do with super cheap pens. Good luck with everything mate 🙏🙏🙏

@@CUTEMKUltras im talking about understanding how to fool the eye to Make letters and characters pop. for three dimentonal. i understand how to draw a cube for example or a letter and add a cast shadow for make it 3D. but when it comes to coloring I need help when I color it sometimes it makes it look more flat. I get the 3 different shades for 3d but knowing where to blend and what not. would love to learn how to make my own characters swell and have them make sense. thanks again I know this is long.
