PRE TREAT: Do you pre treat with a chemical cleaning agent or use one in conjunction with the water pressure? Or do you just only use the pressure with no chemical?

I'm curious about the homeowners water bill after you do this. They ultimately have to pay it - but maybe it's far less costly than paying for the whole 9 yards. But what if that water bill would hurt them money-wise? Most of the people you do this for say they can't afford it or even xyz.
