I post updates and I notify you when I upload on Instagram: @mikeshaketv If you're new here I learn new skills every week. Hope you like this content! Thanks for watching!! Ps thanks for 90k! Love you all!!
I feel like Mike is slowly learning all the survival techniques to survive an apocalypse. This his way of getting us ready for Whatever the future brings! lol
Awesome dedication! Here's a few good tips to learn faster and more efficient: 1. Concentrate on time and not distance at first. If you can control your balance on either foot you then will be able to walk. 2. Keep your leg on the line slightly bend. That will reduce the shaking. 3. Rotate your arms from your shoulders. You perfectly described that the center of mass has to stay over the line. Keep your hips fixed and avoid to bend your upper body out of the center of gravity (the line). Hence work with your arms from the shoulders like the hands of a clock (both 360°). Thanks again for the Video. Slacklife!
Hey Mike, Thanks to you I have been learning a lot of new skills lately, and als very quick. Recently learned the backflip, within 2 days of practise, and about 5 full hours of training, I managed to get it. Love your content! ❤❤❤❤
I love the music you play right when you reach your goal. I can't help but smile when I hear the first notes. I think, "uh oh...there's the music...he's about to do it...he's gonna make it....and YES!!" ~more happy music~ I was wondering if you could do a "best of" video by picking 5 or 6 things you've successfully learned in past videos and see if you can still do them? I have a feeling by next week you will have 100,000 subscribers.
I don't get why you have only 91k subscribers when you make so good quality videos, you definitely deserve 1 mil. and congratulations on learning to slackline btw . Keep making awesome videos , i really enjoy watching them.
I like how he still manages to learn us something new every video while keeping the content entertaining ! You definitly deserve more subs! Love from France
I ve been a slackliner for over 10 years now. Some tips and comments for anyone who is interested. But first: Great job on the tree protection. It is absolutly important to use some protection, otherwise you will damage the trees. That ist often overlooked by beginners (and some pros). Now tipps. The slackline he uses is aweful. Its a "beginner" slackline like many brands offer them. But over the years ive realized that they are in fact harder than normal lines. They are about twice as wide as a regular line which makes them much more shaky im my expiriance. Also brand usualy recommend starting very short (2-5m) and with high tension in the slackline. Both of those will make the line very fast, meaning it will shake violently and gets almost uncontrolable. I would recomend using less tension and maybe 7-10m long. This will make it much easier to control and therefore will make it easier to learn. High tension is an old-school thing that we used to do years ago. We thought it would make it easier to walk since the line cant move as far to the side that way. But that just results in the line swinging faster. We now usualy rigg lines more low tension since the slow but wide movements of the line are much easier to counterbalance. Of course the material used in the webbing is a big factor on the behaviour of a line as well, but generaly it workes
Still so suprised you don’t have as many subs as you should have: quality vids, lots of effort: creative ideas and so entertaining to watch. No offense mike boyd but mikeshake is a much better YouTu ber :)
i got nothing against mike boyd, but i like your content a bit better my guy. funnier shorter, and i think, that soon your gonna over pass him! here before 100k here before 1m and i think you could take this all the way to 5m
I couldn't understand what my teacher taught but when I watch this video I completely understand what is center of gravity and how this work?? Thanks for giving simply understanding knowledge
Omg i hate the fact that you don't have at least a few million subscribers. Your content is waaay better than many other content creators who have a waaay bigger community. Keep up with what you do and you'll get really far away!!! Ps. I think it is the first time when i comment on someone's vid:)

I loved this video...you did a great job....I always love your determination ...never giving up....I know the trapeze artist use long pole's for balance....you can try that. Looking forward to your next video....
Very helpful video! Thank you, it's always better to see someone learn then trying to mimic professionals immediately. I have no doubt this video will save me a lot of confusion and time wasted while practicing. Top notch TH-cam content!!
He's show to we that all things are not impossible to do, just need to be diligent and keep practicing what we do even we are pro because PRACTICE MAKE PERFECT...
Just keep trying, practice is everything!!!
Grazie mille! È davvero il mio obiettivo alla fine. Cercare di trasmettere l'idea che non importa essere bravi oppure no, con impegno e pratica si migliorerà sempre! Grazie ancora!!
