Thank you! I have a recent video all about the anatomy of a pine tree that goes into extreme detail about strokes that I think you’ll love th-cam.com/video/Av7tq2HuoR8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VYK3FuzLsxc_KP7F
Kristen I LOVE your teaching style! I’ve been painting for several years now and consider myself an intermediate. I love learning about your process, seeing how you break things down and even using a limited pallet! Please keep the tutorials coming!
Wow I just started with watercolor. Thank you for your teaching. My picture turned out good. It is so encouraging to learn and make a painting that looks good. You’re a great instructor, who I enjoy listening to.
Love the simplicity of this landscape. I have moved away from landscapes because they can intimidate me but this has encouraged me to try it again. Thank you!!!❤
Thanks Kristin for this beautiful painting. Telling us to use the side of the brush with swiping motions is always a help as I could see all the steps you made and it came out so naturally. Thank you for your patience and I personally luv the tiny splatters makes it look complete then. Bless you at this time of the year and enjoy your family too who will be super excited 🤗🎄
Love this! From simple, basic to more intermediate paintings are a wonderful mix for us to learn from. I also love your limited palette. Thank you so much!
I'm off to try this right now ... as to what I would like to see, I very much like the mix that you already do: simple, loose, more complex and also the brush stroke tutorials.
I look forward to your new videos so much! Watercolor has always been so intimidating for me. You break it down into easy (fun) steps, and the results are beautiful! 🎨❤
I m a beginner but I m gona try!! This tutorial is clear & the quality of your advices is really good! I m dreaming about painting a christmas tree so i need to improve my trees 🤭😉🫶
Love Dorland's for my mixed media sketchbook using watercolour, gouache, neo colors etc. Hey ... are you going to give us a sketchbook tour? It looks beautiful!
Landscapes are kind of my downfall, but - tutorials like this one make them doable! I had a little trouble with the last one so I plan to give it another go.
I completely suck at even attempting mountains. Could you do a tutorial with just mountains? I love all your videos by the way. You make it look so easy.
This is beautiful and I definitely want to attempt it. I'd love more simple step by step quick projects like this one. I love your teaching style and approach to your tutorials. Thank you! In another video you mentioned being in Arizona. I live in Phoenix. Do you live in the area and do you give classes.
Do you have any specific shape or style in mind when doing a tree. I find it hard to do anything that resembles the lovely pine trees you do, or is it just practice? I really enjoy watching your work. Thank you. ❤
@@alisonh890 definitely lots of practice but I do have a shape in mind when I start. Looking at reference photos online helps SO much when painting trees
I think you’ve struck a perfect balance in this tutorial. My only request is to make your sketch a little darker so it can be seen by those of us following along. I understand that you want it light so that it isn’t seen in your painting but when you’re teaching, it would be more helpful to make it visible. Thanks so much❤❤
Kristen, your trees are beautiful! Is there any you can go slower so we can see the strokes!

It may help to press the “gear” icon on the video and choose a slower playback speed.
As a beginner, I love the tutorials that are simple but look complex like this one.
Me too 😊

Love your loose, somewhat chunky? painting style. Not full of intricate overworked details. Beautiful! Thank you for the tutorial..☃️

This reminds me of the travel posters from the 1950's, the ones for the National Parks.

I would like intermediate challenges. I never get enough seascapes and water. I find water challenging to paint.
