Me to Monika: I found out that in Madame Macabre Only Monika. Monika was a complete monster/pure evil. Due to how she lacks sympathy and redeeming traits unlike her canon counterpart. Here are 3 reasons that explain her adaptational villainy: 1. She drives Sayori and Yuri to commit suicide in the worst ways possible she removes Natsuki just for standing in her way and felt no remorse over it. 2. She shows sadism and malice for her actions and feels no empathy, remorse or guilt. 3. She shows high sexual appetites to the player and destroyed the game on purpose without any remorse. So the player would have worth 0 chance of deleting her. Which meant he/she was stuck with her permanently. Which also means she got away with her crimes. Probably because she found out a way to make sure she wouldn't get deleted, through her intelligence. Which is probably more intelligent than the canon, since she can probably figure out ways to succeed in her plans. 4. Although her humor is very dark, morbid, twisted and edgy and laughs like a total psychopath. She lacks comedic moments, tragic backstory and redeeming traits. Which means she is not just taken 100 precent seriously. But is devoid of all the sympathy and redeeming traits her canon counterpart has, thus solidifying her cruel and sadistic nature. Her malicious laughter has nothing to do with comedic moments, since it just shows how cruel and sadistic she is. Note: Adaptational villainy is where a villain is more evil then what they are in original works. Some are Complete Monsters if they are devoid of any redeeming trait their canon counterparts have(If in fanon works). Such as 1. King Koopa(Mario Brothers) 2. SpongeBob SquarePants(The Bikini Bottom Horror) 3. Mari (Hands) 4.
