Excellent work, Max!
Leaders disagree and common men die...in their millions.
Leaders should fight themselves for their quarrels and leave others in peace!
Loved it! Why is this not more popular?!
I'm not crying I've just... got dust in my eyes...
same, same 😭😭
its so dusty
😭😭😭
So many children without fathers. So many wives who lost their husband's. All this carnage just laid the seeds of the next World War.
so many fathers and mothers without children.......
Just saw this- it was in my list of recommendations because I enjoy WWII short films...this was amazing and so beautifully done.
I hope this gets to a wider audience, it deserves it!
It’s ww1
@@brainzwellex9224 yes I know, but because the TH-cam algorithm is the way it is, WWI short films end up on my recommended, also. That’s what I meant.
This was amazing, a beautiful short
War is war and you shouldn't be afraid of what your duty is. The enemy will kill you before you do if you are scared or nervous or anything, don't be afraid of your duty and carry on with your job because no one really cares. Helping your country and killing the enemy is better than sparing him because one day everyone will die and it will just be one big damn thing.
Be yourself and carry on.
Yeah, OK. Input from experts is always appreciated.
Great short film
This is amazing well done
I think every soldier who's leaving for war should see this movie but even more those who send them to war and especially now in Russia and Ukraine!
Fantastic production! Congratulations.
A very poignant ending, I guess the humanitarian twist is that Nikolaus forwarded Arthur's letter ?
No need to guess, that's exactly what happened - he's written "forgive me" on the back of the letter
Amazing film. Great acting and storyline. Very sad ending, as is normally the case with War.
Amazing work! Amazing production
Wonderful work, Max, and a very moving film. Congratulations to you and all your team!
Very powerful and poignant for such a short film. I wish this could reach a greater audience
Wonderful short film and great acting! This should get more views and likes!
The story started in 1914 and he went to war, but the helmets and uniforms for both countries are wrong.
The movie is brilliant.
Very authentic to watch enjoyed everything not gory for a change
Wow
Very good
this happened over and over and here an here and there....
a grim story simply told *****
“OJ ENGLÄNDER! YOU TALKING ABOUT KILLING US?!”
“YOU BET WE ARE FRITZ! HERE, HAVE PACK OF CIGARETTES!”
“WAS!? THESE ARE FRENCE! THEY ARE TO STRONG FOR US, THEY SET OUR LUNGS ON FIRE!”
“EXACTLY!”
*FRITZ REKTS ENGLAND*
EXCELLENT
pretty good...
They fought for corporations not countries. They died for nothing. Total depopulation event. Fight to free the small countries ,yet Ireland is still occupied by the UK (as it was then) . I'd never fight to kill another man but I'd die trying to save him.
Which corporations? Your evidence and documentation , please...?
Please, don't try to speak German if you are not a native speaker! It is better then to keep to english... As a native German, this kills the immersion totally. It sounds wrong and you can't act, if you're not speaking the language fluently. It sounds so... unreal. But the film intends to show 'reality'... The moment I heared this fake-german language, the film lost my attention...
Boring ... sorry, what?
