Hi @manishkumarkachhia1683 Sir, sincere gratitude for your invaluable guidance through the insightful videos! I’ve been trying to find the second part of your Canonical Date series on your channel, specifically the segment where you demonstrated using flag datetype for calculations. Could you please share that part as well? Many thanks once again for your dedication and support!
I have 3 tables of which 2 (table a, table b )are associated to the third one with one column. The 2 tables(table a , table b) have date columns. If I try to add a canonical date table , I am getting circular reference error.
Hi, Thank you for such an amazing video, I have a question - can we associate some views on date field in qlik data model. Will this make app slow for user experience. Please share your suggestions when we associate tables on ID's vs Date field from app response/performance point of view
If you have for the same ID different YearMonth, you will list automatically every rows associated to the single YearMonth you filtered. How to avoid this?
@@manishkumarkachhia1683 If I have different YearMonth (i.e. jan-2021, feb-2021, mar-2021) associated to one single ID (i.e. #123) with the formula Qlik will list automatically all said YearMonth associated to that filtered ID #123, even though if I select as canonical date jan-2021 only. It's quite hard to explain without an example, sorry
@@andreorla91 Any luck with this. It seems like wanted to know, when filtering using ID #123, the 3 YearMonth date need to be showing under this ID. Correct?
Hi manish.. Can u also explain how can we create a single master calender with fields from 2 different tables ? These videos are so helpful , lucky that i got to see ur page. Thank you so much for wonderful proper explanation.
One week could be part of two months. So in this case, I would suggest to create dates for each weeks. Now divide weekly data by 7 to convert to daily. Now create month and aggregare daily data to monthly.
