IMO the 80’s 90’s cards were WAY undervalued. Actually all HOFers needed a big bump in price. Especially when you have new cards of players with only 1-2 good years of play going for more then the best HOFers of all time cause of speculation.
looking back they are undervalued. I always blew it off thinking populations were too high but when you have 100,000 people wanting it population of 1,000 doesn't mean a lot. Not sure if you checked out my old vids on my babe ruth collection but I still think Ruth is undervalued. Several cards of his still under 1k
The Collector I thought the same way as you. Babe Ruth is definitely way undervalued on some of his cards. You put into perspective perfectly too with the 100,000 analogy. The pop’s of 1,000 are no longer her high when we have many new collectors coming into the market.
I have been thinking about it, though I assume I'm going to have to rebuy a bunch of raw cards. Once total lockdown ends I will have to check them out (if my parents aren't to scared to allow anyone in there house). You have some gems from your previous rips. GL with your submissions. I am wondering if it’s a function of the quarantine with people having more time and nothing being released at present or limited releases. Tim Duncan RC, Kevin Garnett have also skyrocketed In price.
market manipulation .and shill bidding is out of control helping to drive up the price....too many new collectors and all the card breaking is the cause....
Yeah the sports card market is exploding right now it’s wild. I’ve been tracking cards for years but never picked up much. It’s wild to see some of these prices now. Great video man!
1989 Ken Griffey Jr. RC is actually difficult to get in high grade. The centering is consistently off centered, as well as the surface (damaged hologram)...
You're underestimating the value of those cards. I've seen some of the same Jordan cards being sold for $1k. (Graded 9.5 -10 of course)

I'm the only one with a UD Griffey Rookie that not 7-10. Those aren't Gretzky Rookies.
I know. Gretzky's Rookie is from 1979 the cards I showed are from 1984/85
