Late comment, but even if you want to Counter Hook him or counter with Knockback or Parry, he can *still* counter back with a Tiger Drop

Wait a minute... i just realized, half of kiryu's heat actions we can survive even though we're apparently just goons.
My point is that kiryu's heat actions in the yakuza series are instant kill unless its a boss. *by kill i mean takedown.* minibosses can survive heat actions but get injured badly, We can survive SOME of his heat actions but get injured badly as well..
are we actually a miniboss instead?

I like to think we're minibosses, and after all styles are released (granting us more HP, ATK, heat actions, combo speed, essence power and heat retention/wave increases) we might be more of a boss or maybe even a superboss (that is, equally rival and beat Kiryu without having to cheese it).

The only style that can survive more then 5 hits from legendary dragon, is probably brute when hes guarding

Almost a 1 year ago now I remember watching this video me and four of my friend's end up beating the legendary dragon the game meth probably changed now but i can list all the steps on how we did it.
1. Frenzy was a key factor for survival when he is attacking someone we used frenzy to hit him from behind.
2. Fistacups did more damage similar to frenzy we all used tiger drop against him which was quite useful
3. If he is in an animation likely to about to kill you teammate use Fistacups or brute to stop him. Frenzy was slightly weaker in those situations.
4. Keep everyone alive as much as possible.
