My thoughts on the new tables: - Chucky is a great table and like a lot of Zoltan Vari's designs, is able to bridge the gap between being easy to learn and hard to master. I'm surprised the "3-bank vari-target" had never been done before, it's a great mechanic. A little on the simple side, but there's nothing wrong with that, especially if you're new to the hobby. Nothing unbalanced, either! - Dead by Daylight was done by the same designer as Crypt of the NecroDancer and shares that table's fairly steep learning curve, but this one is way tougher than that one even putting aside the skill checks and high-pressure chase hurry-ups. Not for me, but I could imagine people who have played the source material would love it. - Duke Nukem... ugh, I wanted to love this table and truly do enjoy the art / aesthetic on it, but it relies way too heavily on pop-up targets for my liking. There's one mode in particular, "We're Gonna Fry Your Ass", where you have to shoot 6+ center targets without draining down the middle, which happens way more than it should. I also think the rules are designed to encourage much longer play than is actually seen. Big disappointment. - The Thing is also a great table but could use some physics improvements, especially with the right orbit tending to send the ball SDTM (straight down the middle) on a full shot. Despite not having the music rights they do a solid job with emulating the atmosphere of the quintessential winter holiday film. Would recommend.
I'll check this one out, and it'll be the third Duke Nukem pin I've played. First, the cool 90's PC game Balls of Steel had one, and later DN Forever itself had a surprisingly playable cabinet in it. The achievement to score a million points in the latter one was quite a task but I managed to do it.
I like this interface way better than the new FX. I haven't gotten on board with the new FX yet....I have all the games on FX3 so I continue to play them. Not ready to spend all the $ again. This Pinball M I will get into and buy the tables...I like it a lot better than FX.
This look more like classic Pinball. I dont like so many of the new designed Zen tables, but the classic Bally remakes are very well done to a tee. Correct me if I'm wrong but this look more classic style pin.
Bought em all last night pricing is much better than the pinball fx soft reboot and theyre all new tables not graphical updates. I stick with fx3 since they let u carry tables over from fx2. And they've got cabinet mode again which is always good for virtual pinball machines, nice help page on steam to get backglass and dmd going, its like the zen pinball of old.
@pinballwiz45b i know but the ones that weren't didn't grab me, or were available on vpx and quite expensive so I didn't want them either, these pinball m ones look appealing since they're cheaper and original. I love h.p lovecraft so the free demo table was great and the price for the 4 table bundle was cheap. I just think it's a better experience than pinball fx soft reboot
@@brandonhiggs88I am also. I found letting a table stay up for a while get the table running smooth. But you should t have to do that. Hope they patch the Nintendos version soon 🤞 should have just got it on steam but seen it on the eShop first 😅
This may be my new favorite pinball game! Love everything about it!

kind of weird they released the horror pinball game a full month after halloween
I think that that may have originally been aiming for an October release.
I've been enjoying these new tables. I think my favorite is The Thing. Thanks for the video, Crow.
The Thing is really the best looking table.

nice video!!! felt like unrealistic left flipper controll in dead by daylight, cause of left bumper sensitivity, or not....

Does it beat Microsoft 3D Pinball: Space Cadet tho
tbh... I never really played Space Cadet.
WHAT!!
What is this and where do you get it?
Haha it came free with windows XP. It was kinda shit but I spent hours playing it nonetheless. Wouldn’t know how to get it now

FX isn't just graphical updates.

honestly hate all the tables besides chucky and even that gets annoying sometimes with random middle outs
Don’t like the ball drift trail 😠
You can turn that off. I left it on for this game because it doesn't really bother me and it can be altered with different effects.
@CrowContinuum bro it would be really a lot of help if u will tell about the download size and price of the game in description
