Right 😊 idk if this drama gonna be a big hit or not. But I can understand why he choose this project. The story is so beautifull, the cinematography is like one of the best i've ever seen in kdrama. And most of all, his character is so relatable 👍
this drama is not just a love story of two people who are both broken BUT this kdrama is the story of all of us. We are Gang Tae and Mun Yeong at times. We are them in a way that only us will understand. More on feeling sad and always crying because of the scenes, they are teaching us something else. They are making us feel that what we are feeling is valid. It is okay to not be okay at times. We dont have to keep it inside. You are not alone in this world. Someone, somewhere is feeling what you are feeling right now. Hold on to that little hope. You matter. What sets apart is all characters in this drama fighting their own demon which is their past trauma. And its heartbreaking coz others can't heal the illness unless ownself realize and accept their circumstances. Also willing to heal, eventho its painful process. I applaud the scriptwriter for putting the storyline so well written. All casts and crews made this masterpiece. Waiting for other cameos like KDY, he made a great scene in eps 3

I watched this by accident since it was on my recommendation list‚ but I ended up watching the whole series in just a day. did I really watched it by accident? perhaps‚ it was meant for me to watch it. this drama is a masterpiece‚ many people can relate; especially‚ for those people who've been going through rough situations-the feeling of being lost in life. for some reasons‚ we can feel the deep meaning of this drama. despite of having a tragic past‚ there’s still a person who'll gonna heal our broken wounds and let the best out of us. take a breath if it's too hard‚ be calm. 🥹❤️

As a psychology student,I totally can relate to this drama. In fact, lots of people out there still lack of awareness in mental illness. They just can't understand this mental illnesses things and always blame the patients for behaving the way they had to. I'm so glad for choosing psychology,never I thought that choosing this course can open my eyes so wide about the perspective of mental illness. I'm glad that I'm able to help people surrounding me with the knowledge that I've gain in university. Sometimes what they need is an ear to listen to them,just listen and try to feel their story. It'll help them even just a bit.
This drama really is a ‘healing’ drama. It’s touching me in a way a drama hasn’t in a long time. I mean I CRIED I can’t remember the last time I cried because a drama, a movie or anything like that. We are all fighting a battle we choose not to show, we really don’t what a person went through or is going through by how they present themselves to the outside world.
Admit it guys, no matter how dark Ms. Seo Ye Ji's character here is she pulls off being a comedian! Like when she mimicked the screaming deer, or when she stucked her tongue out to the nurse's back or when she yelled "do you want to sleep with me!" to Moon Kang Tae etc,I was just about wheezing from laughing so hard. Now I am determined to watch all the shows/dramas she has ever been. Why did it take me so long to notice her? She is absolutely a very good actress. 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜
this drama is so good. Everything that happens has a meaning. Everything that they say, how they respond to each other, What they show each other . How they see themselves..Episode 3 was so emotional.The way she got back at him and called him hypocrat. script writeing shows emotions soooo well. i'm in love.
That part and at the end when he asked her if he should just have fun with her was so touching, him seeing himself behaving like the patient being free, saying "look at me".

After watching Ep. 6, I finally get it, what they meant when they said that this drama is all about healing. My heart is just so full last night because of that heartbreaking tears and warm hug. It’s so fulfilling to see a drama that discusses mental health, showcasing the twisted side of fairy tales that we always picture perfectly in our minds (just imagine Juri being the princess and moon young being the witch to highlight their differences according to the perspective of the people around them) How strong people never pretend because they don’t care what others think. That being different among the others is not a mistake. That there’s always a reason why a person acts and thinks the way he or she does. That we are all scarred from our own past. That we regret how we were all hypocrite and coward at one point in our lives. Whenever you feel like crying, dying or maybe you’re feeling just empty, remember that sometimes, It’s Okay to Be Not Okay. Soon you’ll get better because storms dont last. Your mind and heart will be in peace someday. Well, this is Officially the best kdrama of this year, I can say.
It a psychiatric hospital, the patients do not have rational thoughts and behaviour, he’s very old and cannot communicate so he was put on priority. He’s a patient. She’s disliked in the first place and no physical damage was done to her, but realistically anyone would’ve helped her up. I don’t know why they didn’t show that.

I mean, I’m also his child” “Do children have to be useful to their parents?” It’s still lingering in my head and it sucks to think that in reality we all are facing this and getting fucked up to think of how we’re not good enough in their eyes when in the end all we want is their warm and their attention to us even a little bit is enough.

To be honest, Korean songs sound incredibly meaningful and sympathetic to me even though I don’t learn Korean. This song is such an extraordinary combination of comfort, sadness and happiness. I became emotionally overwhelmed, and my heart was literally broken into pieces and I burst into tears instantly. “Breath” was played when Ko Moon Young was walking under the rain and then Moon Gang Tae came for her and they were staying, hugging each other under the rain. After this scene I suddenly cried like a baby, honestly. Both of them played the characters really beyond perfect. I mean, they may looked strong outside but deep inside they were vulnerable and needed a shoulder to cry on. I love this drama so damn much. This film deserves uncountable outstanding awards for the beautiful messages and stories expressed through the movie. Everything will be okay, I promise. If anything is making you feel exhausted, depressed, remember, after a hard rain, the weather will constantly be sunny. Just like the title, “It’s okay to not be okay’.

this drama really portrays humans well. usually in dramas, they don't show this kind of problem. Usually, something law related. but this drama shows how vulnerable people can be even when they act like they are not.
When KT was mad at her after what she’s said in the car, and then she started shouting ‘i love you’ to KT, you can clearly see that she doesn’t know what love is at all. She thought by saying that will make KT flutter and come back to her, but KT knows that she’s just bluffing therefore he ignores her. It’s a funny scene and sad at the time because in the end, you can see from MY face that she’s frustrated and sad even though the music was an upbeat one. She is just obsessed with him without having any feelings yet.

This is probably one of the best Korean dramas of the year. From the script, the cinematography to the actors, everything is amazing, refreshing and actually makes sense, not some childish, pointless story. I missed these type of drama.

l rated this drama 10/10 in Google, never done this before. l can cry, laugh, and feel scary at the same time and it just needs 1 episode to feel all of that. Horror scene is really 100% seriously made, it's like you're really watching a horror movie. Both Moon Young and Kang Tae are abandoned children, but Moon Young shows her demon out to survive on her own and she doesn't know she has a good side before she met Kang Tae. Kang Tae has a demon inside, he really wants to explode. But he needs to show his angelic side because he has someone to taking care of and somehow he feels satisfied with what Moon Young did to revenge. And so many good messages inside this drama. WELL DONE. We need more drama with many attitudes, l am ready to replace Itaewon Class on the top of my list for 2019-2020 drama (and l just started to watch Kdrama during quarantine, including Goblin. But Itaewon Class and this drama are on another level)
When I was a very young man I had the opportunity to train at the Defense Language Insittute but, unaware of how rare and substantial that opportunity is, I opted in another direction. It's an immersive program, and Korean would have been among the options. Now well beyond middle age, and exposed to the marvel and modesty of the Korean culture, I now all the more regret having missed that boat. Few things in life have impressed me more that K-dramas. Koreans really know how to mix genres and get it done.
Okay but why is no one talking about Sam Kim! My favourite voice! So glad he is back with another OST, and an OST for one of my favourite kdramas right now too 😭

I was like you before. I'm not a fan of KDrama then, but when someone told me that this one was great, I tried to watch it. After watching IOTNBO,I can't help myself but looking for another KDrama to watch. This one was really worth the watch. This drama showed the reality of life that in one way or another we feel not okay but we keep on resisting this fact. This drama told us that it's really okay not to feel fine always. I can really relate with the characters here. I can't help my tears from falling down. Until now, I can still feel the emotion I felt when watching it. Kudos to the IOTNBO team. Looking forward for another like this.

I can’t stop praising Kim soo hyun every time he appeared on the screen. He is so handsome. Same goes to Seo Ye ji. THEY ARE DEFINITELY BEST COUPLE OF THE YEAR.
Ko Moon-young is strong outside but so vulnerable inside. She's using her outside facade just to hide her fragility. But I can see that she is so much hurting inside. I can feel her pains and sorrows. All she wants is someones warmth. I just want to hug her and tell her how much I appreciate her and that I am proud of her. She's definitely one of my favorite character in kdrama land.
I'm so in love with this drama. Everything was just impressive. From the lead characters, plot, osts to cinematography. Wow. And goodness. The chemistry between KSH and SYJ is just out of this world. Gaaaa. I can't wait for the next episodes. I am also curious how they will tackle other mental health issues.

The fact that almost every ost's videos are just them staring at each other says a lot. Love isn't just about saying I love you's and kissing, "eyes are the windows of the soul". A loving gaze, or just a mere touch from your s.o is enough to see how they truly feel about you. I'm glad that I chose this as my first kdrama but I'm afraid that my standards are set too high now XD. Even if this doesn't win kdrama of the year, remember that quality > quantity :)

this drama is not just a love story of two people who are both broken BUT this kdrama is the story of all of us. We are Gang Tae and Mun Yeong at times. We are them in a way that only us will understand. More on feeling sad and always crying because of the scenes, they are teaching us something else. They are making us feel that what we are feeling is valid. It is okay to not be okay at times. We dont have to keep it inside. You are not alone in this world. Someone, somewhere is feeling what you are feeling right now. Hold on to that little hope. You matter.

As a psychology student,I totally can relate to this drama. In fact, lots of people out there still lack of awareness in mental illness. They just can't understand this mental illnesses things and always blame the patients for behaving the way they had to. I'm so glad for choosing psychology,never I thought that choosing this course can open my eyes so wide about the perspective of mental illness. I'm glad that I'm able to help people surrounding me with the knowledge that I've gain in university. Sometimes what they need is an ear to listen to them,just listen and try to feel their story. It'll help them even just a bit.
Especially in Asian countries. These dramas serve an important platform for social issues not being addressed.

This drama really is a ‘healing’ drama. It’s touching me in a way a drama hasn’t in a long time. I mean I CRIED I can’t remember the last time I cried because a drama, a movie or anything like that. How they see themselves..Episode 3 was so emotional.The way she got back at him and called him hypocrat. script writeing shows emotions soooo well. i'm in love.

Tp aku tetap yakin dia tidak akan jatuh hanya dg rumor itu. Karismanya tidak akan pernah hilang. Dan dia akan tetap menjadi kesayangan semua org.
After watching Ep. 6, I finally get it, what they meant when they said that this drama is all about healing. My heart is just so full last night because of that heartbreaking tears and warm hug. It’s so fulfilling to see a drama that discusses mental health, showcasing the twisted side of fairy tales that we always picture perfectly in our minds (just imagine Juri being the princess and moon young being the witch to highlight their differences according to the perspective of the people around them) How strong people never pretend because they don’t care what others think. That being different among the others is not a mistake. That there’s always a reason why a person acts and thinks the way he or she does. That we are all scarred from our own past. That we regret how we were all hypocrite and coward at one point in our lives.
Whenever you feel like crying, dying or maybe you’re feeling just empty, remember that sometimes, It’s Okay to Be Not Okay. Soon you’ll get better because storms dont last. Your mind and heart will be in peace someday.

It a psychiatric hospital, the patients do not have rational thoughts and behaviour, he’s very old and cannot communicate so he was put on priority. He’s a patient. She’s disliked in the first place and no physical damage was done to her, but realistically anyone would’ve helped her up. I don’t know why they didn’t show that.

To be honest, Korean songs sound incredibly meaningful and sympathetic to me even though I don’t learn Korean.
This song is such an extraordinary combination of comfort, sadness and happiness. I became emotionally overwhelmed, and my heart was literally broken into pieces and I burst into tears instantly. “Breath” was played when Ko Moon Young was walking under the rain and then Moon Gang Tae came for her and they were staying, hugging each other under the rain. After this scene I suddenly cried like a baby, honestly. Both of them played the characters really beyond perfect. I mean, they may looked strong outside but deep inside they were vulnerable and needed a shoulder to cry on. I love this drama so damn much. This film deserves uncountable outstanding awards for the beautiful messages and stories expressed through the movie. Everything will be okay, I promise. If anything is making you feel exhausted, depressed, remember, after a hard rain, the weather will constantly be sunny.

When KT was mad at her after what she’s said in the car, and then she started shouting ‘i love you’ to KT, you can clearly see that she doesn’t know what love is at all. She thought by saying that will make KT flutter and come back to her, but KT knows that she’s just bluffing therefore he ignores her. It’s a funny scene and sad at the time because in the end, you can see from MY face that she’s frustrated and sad even though the music was an upbeat one. She is just obsessed with him without having any feelings yet.

This is probably one of the best Korean dramas of the year. From the script, the cinematography to the actors, everything is amazing, refreshing and actually makes sense, not some childish, pointless story. I missed these type of drama.

l rated this drama 10/10 in Google, never done this before. l can cry, laugh, and feel scary at the same time and it just needs 1 episode to feel all of that. Horror scene is really 100% seriously made, it's like you're really watching a horror movie. Both Moon Young and Kang Tae are abandoned children, but Moon Young shows her demon out to survive on her own and she doesn't know she has a good side before she met Kang Tae. Kang Tae has a demon inside, he really wants to explode. But he needs to show his angelic side because he has someone to taking care of and somehow he feels satisfied with what Moon Young did to revenge. And so many good messages inside this drama. WELL DONE. We need more drama with many attitudes, l am ready to replace Itaewon Class on the top of my list for 2019-2020 drama (and l just started to watch Kdrama during quarantine, including Goblin. But Itaewon Class and this drama are on another level)
When I was a very young man I had the opportunity to train at the Defense Language Insittute but, unaware of how rare and substantial that opportunity is, I opted in another direction. It's an immersive program, and Korean would have been among the options. Now well beyond middle age, and exposed to the marvel and modesty of the Korean culture, I now all the more regret having missed that boat. Few things in life have impressed me more that K-dramas. Koreans really know how to mix genres and get it done.

I never watched Korean Drama before, and a friend said this was pretty good cuz the story is quite true, everyone is ill in some ways mentally we just hide it and cover it up....

I was like you before. I'm not a fan of KDrama then, but when someone told me that this one was great, I tried to watch it. After watching IOTNBO,I can't help myself but looking for another KDrama to watch. This one was really worth the watch. This drama showed the reality of life that in one way or another we feel not okay but we keep on resisting this fact. This drama told us that it's really okay not to feel fine always. I can really relate with the characters here. I can't help my tears from falling down. Until now, I can still feel the emotion I felt when watching it. Kudos to the IOTNBO team. Looking forward for another like this.
i recommend you to watch My Mister, it has the same genre with this drama. and its so good even better than Its Ok Not To be Ok.

I can’t stop praising Kim soo hyun every time he appeared on the screen. He is so handsome. Same goes to Seo Ye ji. THEY ARE DEFINITELY BEST COUPLE OF THE YEAR.
Ko Moon-young is strong outside but so vulnerable inside. She's using her outside facade just to hide her fragility. But I can see that she is so much hurting inside. I can feel her pains and sorrows. All she wants is someones warmth. I just want to hug her and tell her how much I appreciate her and that I am proud of her. She's definitely one of my favorite character in kdrama land.
I like the fact that this drama doesn't have tons of characters and no evil envious girl. It's straight to the point and focuses on real life issues.

I'm so in love with this drama. Everything was just impressive. From the lead characters, plot, osts to cinematography. Wow. And goodness. The chemistry between KSH and SYJ is just out of this world. Gaaaa. I can't wait for the next episodes. I am also curious how they will tackle other mental health issues.

The fact that almost every ost's videos are just them staring at each other says a lot. Love isn't just about saying I love you's and kissing, "eyes are the windows of the soul". A loving gaze, or just a mere touch from your s.o is enough to see how they truly feel about you. I'm glad that I chose this as my first kdrama but I'm afraid that my standards are set too high now XD. Even if this doesn't win kdrama of the year, remember that quality > quantity :)

It was huge in Korea. Again you can't trust the rating. People watch this on other platforms. You have no idea how big the female leads fashion and makeup was.
