Raw Mango + Cucumber + Dal Salad | Kosambari

  • A summer delight that is refreshing and healthy. Kosambari is a Kannada word for salad that is popularly served across southern India, under different names. In Maharashtra, it's called kairi chi koshimbir. While some recipes use yellow mung beans, some use soaked chana or gram and some use a mix of both. I've made this recipe using raw mango (seasonal fruit), chana dal and cucumber. You can also add grated carrots if you please.
