  • In addition to learning the value of good positioning and just how important that is, I am also learning how it pays to be patient and time things just right. With this being a weekly crit and one I attend on the regular, I've had plenty of opportunities to try and nail this timing thing and mannnnn am I getting close! This was a fun one! Enjoy!

You had great position around turn 3 but went to early over the hill and put yourself in the front on turn 4 putting down 600w! There's definitely a trend to go a bit early at eldo, most of us are victim to it. See you next week!

I totally did. Staying super patient will be clutch for me going forward. It’s so easy to get real hyped in that section (between turn 3 and 4) and go early. I’ve been boxed in and squeezed out in that section a handful of times which is my biggest fear trying to stay chill. It’s such a mind game

@@d.imski93 thanks man! Even with being on the unsheltered side (with westerly wind) through turn 1-2) I figured better hang there to keep inside position (sheltered) going into turn 3-4. Still so bummer for u about your shifters. Hopefully you have gotten that all sorted 👊

You’re on the right track brother, it’s only a matter of time before it sticks

Thank you bro. I feel like I’m so close. More patience is needed on my end. And while it feels great to put down a longer sustained effort through that section it leaves me with no actual sprint come 200m to go and at that point I’m just the lead out for you, Chris, and Avery. We gonna get there. I’m sure of it!
