I'm not a writer, but I love learning about your process. Your book's interior is definitely more pleasing to my eye! Love how you pay such close attention to those types of details. 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks! It's been interesting to see how my age and experience are serving me so well in this process. I (honestly) couldn't have done all this 20 years ago. I needed all the experience doing all the things to (finally) put together something I'm proud of. Excited to share more in the coming weeks!
I’m not a writer, but am enjoying seeing your journey. I love hearing how you are gearing the series to children based off your personal experience in the classroom. How stinkin brilliant to study and dissect other books in this category. I understand what you mean about breathing room. Your book layout is great! 🎉
Just found your videos, and your video customizing your Alphasmart was my first one to see. Are you still using it, how did your paint job hold up, and did you use it to write your book? I'm interested to see your videos about publishing your own books. I'm writing a story now that I hope grows into a book. I agree, your book's layout is much nicer to read. Good luck on your writing journey and I'll keep watching!
Ah, thank you so much for all the kind words! The paint job on my AlphaSmart has held up great! No scratches, no flaking of the paint. It still looks brand new-despite being tossed around inside my writing bag! Though, if I'm honest, I'm not using it nearly as much anymore. That's because I invested in a Grammarly subscription. I *loathe* the AI suggestions (and always delete them). But it is *so* nice to have a built-in editor that's far superior to default editor in MS Word. Psst! I'm releasing videos on my writing journey every Wednesday! :) Thanks for joining our community and so glad you found me!
Manual or even a course! Great idea. Thank you! For now, as I'm still on the journey as a newbie, I'll continue to share what I learn and experience here! :)

@@keylolodale Thanks for the encouraging feedback! And I'm glad you're enjoying my writing videos - even though you're not a writer yourself!

Maybe you can turn this writing journey into a self publishing manual😊
