    It's sacrilege this song (and band) were not given the airtime on local radio that they deserved. when they were making their rounds. So many kids growing up in Australia not knowing them or hearing their awesome music that has meaning and the 'spirit of Australia'. I first heard them in Atherton in 1992 and I was hooked. Thankyou Warumpi Band.

    I get home after a night out (Kansas City). I had a yearning to hear and see this classic that was such an impactful song from growing up (Melbourne). Have listened to these guys everywhere I’ve traveled. The fact I’m still seeking out the song, and you’re reading this comment, proves really how strong it is.

    I use to live away from my home i had my kids my woman but still it hurt .Every time i listened to this song it break me down to tears because i just wanted to go back home to my people. Powerful

    A beautiful song for those whose home is far away surrounded by the sea. A top song for all island boys and girls out there far from home.
