Thank you for this, I don't actively play FFXIV anymore but this was the theme that stuck with me since I started out as a thaumaturge to go Black Mage later on. Night time ul'dah or inner city, always had a soft spot in my heart. It helps calm my heart and mind to remain positive throughout the day.

this song always reminds me of the bittersweet feelings I have about Ul'Dah. I wish it were more equal. I wish people had it better there. but they're noble and good overall and are great allies to me. so I get choked up hearing this song at night, seeing the pretty lights. in Ul'Dah I'm rich like the merchants, but outside the game I'm so far from it. I have sympathy for more people than I would, because of this game.

I was skeptical of this game, not because of the half naked hrothgar & roegadyn males in speedos groping each other in limsa but because I didnt think a ff mmo could be as good as 11 but I have to say, I have lots of good memories in 14 that rival or even surpass 11
14 is definitely way more user friendly than 11 ever was at any time.
