Howzit Jaco, this pretty cool set up? I am a saffa living in France. I am a beekeeper i think this would work for cleaning bee pollen? I have been trying to find a way to clean my pollen, this looks like a solution. 🤞
@@JacoBadenhorst No the oats are light, I can try the speeds 1-7 it makes no difference straight though the clean out let. Tried closing the gap in the throat with a piece of plywood same result . Sent a email to the Realseeds Uk telling then the problem just told me I may have to use a seive
I did not think it would be that sensitive! My first thought was that the feed section was to large. I also noticed that the vent makes a big difference between fully open and fully closed.
We started with 2, now there are 24 Budgies. So yes this is exactly what I was looking for.
Lekker man lekker!
A simple PVC tube with several 45° pieces....less work, so cheap and the same result...
Sorry for my english.
Good job
Thank you for the comment. I have not thought about it, but I like your plan.
Woah! Cool. where can i get the plans from?

This is the basic plan I used, but I did change it a bit to be able to use the wood I had on hand.

I think you would be able to use it. Maybe just throttle the vac more or less? Let me know how it goes.
@@JacoBadenhorst I was worried about the power of my shop vac. I could make a flap to reduce the size of the vacuum intake?
@@barretmcdermid1840 yes, or even a 1/4 turn ball valve could work.
Hi Jaco. Would you be willing to make the design plan with dimensions available. And how can O get it. Tx Ranleigh Delport
Got it not to worry TX. This will help a lot to clean my pigeon feed
Super. I must be honest. You won't regret it.
Thank you Jaco. Best wishes and all the best for 2021
I have this model it cleans sunflower, millet but it will not clean hulled oats
should of said my vacuum has 7 setting low to high but will only drop the seed out of the clean tube, any ideas how to solve that
I just want to make sure I understand. So the seed falls straight through without any cleaning happening, as the oats is to heavy?

Jaco I have just built a new cabinet and put more time and effort in to getting the correct sizes and now it cleans the oats

What is the width? looking like 4" from here.
Thanx. For the comment. I think the internal width was 76mm (3"). That will make the overall width 4". I will check tonight and let you know.
@@JacoBadenhorst all good no panic.
