The single-decker smashed into the T4 bubble tea cafe close to the Piccadilly Gardens MetroLink tram stop at around 1pm on Monday 16 October, injuring 11 people. "She loved music, gardening, TV soaps and nature. She was the senior member of our family, the eldest sister and great-great-aunt. She was well-loved, our matriarch, and her presence will be hugely missed. "Mena was a private person and her family asks that this be respected during our time of mourning. We thank all the services and people who came to her aid." A 64-year-old man has been bailed on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after being arrested at the scene. Just reminds me of the terrible bin lorry crash in Glasgow. The driver took a "bad turn" mounted the kerb and killed 6 people and injured 15. Mate, do you know if one would be forced to enter the 'knife archway' seen in this footage? I am of the understanding one isn't obliged to pass through one. Earlier in the year I was vacating my local bus station, and told a number of officers to make way as they flanked the detector archways at the exit. They did so. However, it appears the officer in this video is indicating they must be passed through.

Yes, we should have police checkpoints everywhere and be forced to carry ID at all times too, in the form of microchips implanted into our hand so our identity can be verified as we go through the full body scanners. While we are at it, we must install cameras and microphones in our homes so every word and action we make, even in private, can be monitored. Everyone must think and behave exactly according to state approved standards or they will be re-educated.

Them metal detectors I ask myself are they fake like the TV licence detector vans in the 80/90s either way they 💯 detect paranoid individuals that have something to hide so I believe they use it to fish them out the metal detector would be buzzing with everyone. Reasonable suspicion gives the police in the States the ability to detain you. When the have evidence you have broken the law that’s the probable cause to arrest you.

Its voluntary to walk through a knife arch. But a police officer was blocking the middle. So forcing people people to go through the arch.

That's correct. It's in the Police Standard Operating procedure for these arches. Refusal is not a reasonable suspicion for a search.
