Annual Sports Meet for the AY 2023-24 | Madhava Kripa School Manipal

The Annual Sports Meet for the AY 2023-24 at Madhava Kripa School kicked off on the 8th of November, 2023, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Shobha M E, Assistant Professor Selection Grade, Department of Mathematics at MIT, Manipal.
Dr. Shobha M E began the event by inspecting the contingents of the four competing houses: Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz, along with the impressive NCC troop . The symbolic moment of inauguration came as Dr. Shobha M E released a cluster of vibrant balloons into the sky, marking the official start of the sports meet. The serene ascent of the balloons perfectly encapsulated the sense of unity and shared excitement that filled the air.
The highlight of the event was Dr. Shobha M E's inspiring speech. She eloquently conveyed the significance of confronting challenging situations by quoting the life stories of Commander Abhilash Tomy, a retired Indian Navy officer, naval aviator, and accomplished yachtsman, as well as Mrs. Shalini Saraswathi, a quad amputee who defied all odds to become a blade runner.
Despite unfavourable weather conditions, the students displayed exceptional zeal and determination, making the inaugural event a resounding success
