I remember attending Mike Redmans camp and him making me do pushups when I wouldn't pay attention. I did a lot of pushups that week. But when I saw him again at the Silver Dollar Nationals, I took home a first or second trophy. Thanks to him and Spanky Campbell I have a couple of NAG plates.
I remember this kid I was expert class in the late 90s and seeing this kid fly threw his class at the races. He was alittle younger than me thank god 😂 🤙🏻
I love how he mention kids in minnesota couldnt ride their bike all year long well bubba i was one of those minnesota kids with my red and white redline flight pro bubba harris edition which i still have till this day I lost my first set of permanent teeth in 3rd grade hitting a 15 foot jump that i over shot and face planted but i loved it and loved the sport still do.
I remember watching Bubba come up through the age ranks and turning pro. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the three new guys who turned pro that year were Bubba, Mike Day and Donny Robinson. Bubba is the best pack rider I've seen. Kyle Bennett (RIP) would be the other.
The greatest who never was is Denzel Stein. That kid literally scared pros at 15 years old. They would avoid gate practice with him. Bubba and Bennett will always be my #1 and #1.
Yep agreed. What an era. Don't forget the others of the time though. Greg Hill, Harry Leary, Eric Rupe, the Anderson brothers, the King brothers, Jeff Bottema to name a few.
I'm pretty sure I saw him do a back flip at one of those nationals back then. But let's face it, Bubba was a straight up athlete with amazing bike handling skills and drive.

Thumbs up if you are binge watching these and have no plans to stop any time soon
Being "the best" only lasts a short time in life. How you live your life and what your real priorities are is most important. Take a look inside...
He did get into the BMX hall of fame this year, but saying he is the best racer is ridiculous.
The greatest who never was is Denzel Stein. That kid literally scared pros at 15 years old. They would avoid gate practice with him. Bubba and Bennett will always be my #1 and #1.
My kids are watching this in 2020
