FYI with tanning leather you can make it slightly more profitable by using a time of fire and a bryophytas staff. The book gives unlimited fire runes and the staff makes it so you use less nature runes

@@LensOSRS According to dps cals the DHL is better than fang, but I tested both at rune dragons for multiple hours and with BIS armour (excl torva) I consistenly got 60 kph with fang and only 53 with DHL
Simple answer, Using a fighter torso negates your magic by -40, So having the torso + staff and using crumble undead, there is a chance of splashing the spell. So by bringing an occult aswell, you negate the chance of splashing entirely. This is only for if you are using a fighter torso such as I was. Hope this explains
