Too much rain caused a disease that was severe and any protection did not save the crop. Of course, we don't want to overdo the protection. We only use treatments in winter. We avoid treatments when the plants have leaves and especially when the fruits are there. In professional production, protection must be applied throughout the year. We use copper-based oils. Maybe this year will be easier for growing plants, so the treatment you used until now will be OK. However, we recommend a treatment in the winter period to destroy the disease that can survive on the bark of the vine. Thank you for being with us. Feel free to write again
