Some rappers don't have good breath control but people love them anyway, some have great breath control but aren't as skilled as the ones lacking breath control. That's just 1 example. What really matters to listeners is how well it sounds overall and the skill that goes into the track vocally and the beat. Beats rely on grooves, bumps, how it flows and what catches the ear, this beat has that, then her tone and cadence sounds very nice here, so nobody really cares if she can hold notes or not. This track is better than some singers tracks that can hold notes, but also this track is for a different mood than some of the singers who can hold notes. For example, Never Enough by Loren Allred. I'm a man, I don't do lovey dovey songs, most of the songs in my brain are lyrical, instrumental/Orchestral, life and thought provoking, but few love songs but I KNOW lots of music, probably thousands of songs as I've been into music since I was a teen, even played in a band, produced music and I write music. Loren Allred can sing sing, way better than foushee, but Lauren sticks to different music genre and feel than Foushee. I'd play Foushee riding down the street in New York at night during the summer, Lauren, I'd play just because I'm thinking of my wife.
