    Been meditating for 20+ years. Read so much stuff about false self, awareness, all that, thought I understood. I have been practising this guided meditation for a couple of weeks now, then last night I realised(and I think this gift of yours opened me to it) that what I have conceived of as me has been perhaps entirely the action of my imagination. Wow, so liberating, so blindingly obvious, yet Ididn't see it in a felt way. Thank you so much Ascendor

    I got it, i felt it. The emptiness, it was everywhere. I felt so peaceful. After the Video i kept sitting like that for like 10 mins. I still feel it in the background while im typing. So calm. Feelings and thoughts came and i noticed them, they disappeared before they could unfold. I was observing before but never felt like this just now. Thank you

    As I went to the root or source of my thoughts and realized they werent me it was almost as if another demension opened and i could sense (not see) the true me almost as an overlay on the perceived reality. Althought it was more like the reality was overlayed on it. As I stayed in that I felt things loosing up and i relaxed as much as possible but I know there is more. That felt very close! It is like another deminsiin that is here always but you just have to tune to it...? Thanks!

      Thanks for the support. Yes it feels like another dimension but in reality it's just what is actually here. It is the very "thing" that makes existence possible.

    I just want to tell you... the last few months have been a whirlwind for me. Maybe more so the last two years or more, but it was like someone hit ff on my life and everything bad that could happen, did. In the process of moving into a new home, I started to work on my mental health. Your videos were listened to along with some others. But I want to say thanks friend. Because you've helped me so much is such short time. I appreciate you. :)

    when you said that fear comes from the fact that I exist, I understand exactly what you mean. is this actually our Ego? and what to do to get rid of this kind of subconscious fear

    • @ascendor.ascendor
      @ascendor.ascendor  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      This is our ego (psychological self) and it is constantly trying to become better because it thinks that it's existence is fundamentaly flawed and it needs constant improvement. It wants perfection and completion but it knows that it's immortal so completion is impossible and this creates fear. You can overcome this by understanding and feeling that the self that is beyond your psyche is immortal

    Dear Ascendor my gratitude.You are beyond description. Please answer this simple question, when I was not involved with this stuff, I used to exercise, watch movies, play mouth organ, go to different journeys, but now I stopped everything altogether, is it normal, I find everything meaningless,is that okay?

    • @ascendor.ascendor
      @ascendor.ascendor  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I can only speak from my personal experience. I went through a similar phase where, for quite a long time, I couldn't find any meaning in life. The only thing that still somewhat interested me was meditation. This went on for so long that I started worrying if this state would remain forever and if I might just turn into a lazy person. But over time, that feeling faded, and new interests emerged, aligning with the spiritual insights I had gained. Sometimes, there's this transitional phase where you let go of old things, and the new things come naturally on their own. I also touched on this topic in my last video. Thank you so much for your kind words, and I wish you a beautiful day!

    Is this 'Let go' said in the context of disassociating with the emotions and thoughts?

    Great video. It definitely helps me in my meditation to have someone guiding me. I have a question I’m hoping someone can help me with. I’ve meditated for quite awhile and I’ve been frustrated because I’m anticipating an experience that doesn’t happen. I’m trying to let go of the need for an experience and just “be”. But I’ve taken weed several times before I’ve meditated and felt like my body has disappeared and/or an expansive feeling that I don’t get when I don’t use weed. Is it ok to use weed or should I not rely on that for an experience?

    • @ascendor.ascendor
      @ascendor.ascendor  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Ask yourself why you want to have an experience. It may be the same reason you're smoking weed. Maybe you don't want an experience but you really want to feel relaxed. But if you keep smoking weed, you're teaching your body to be stressed and tense in the absense of weed.
      A natural relaxation and expansion will spontaneously occur when you meditate with a sober and clean body-mind.
