The first part is a narrative of his failure. the the chorus, The next part is a narrative of okabe's time with kurisu and how it is impossible for them to be. The Two choruses are similar. THe orbit of photon and universe is really a reference to the idea of destiny or fate The first chorus is really okabe succumbing to fate and not trying to change it The second chorus is more of a philosophical metaphor (the show has many of these which im bad at figuring out) and we can leave it at that The last line of the chorus "the last game" is chillingly beutiful cuz it makes a point. Steins gate is all about games. Okabe plays a game with time and realizes that it cant work. Steins gate 0 is okabe playing a new game with the Beta worldline, he is not world jumping anymore, this is the game he will play. this is the worldline he will be on. This is his world now. Enough bout okabe, the last game also is a phrase that applies to us. As in its a game we will lose. THe last game we play is a game against death. And we will lose that game, if we win the game we will play it again and lose (hence that game is not the last).
