My tip - bid high in the first rounds to get the good routes with resources and stay ahead. Like the common saying, "you don't have to be faster than the bear, you just have to be faster than the other guy." Either way - it was great playing with you.
I've only played it once (and really enjoyed it), and for a while, I was in the lead with a pile of resources, but TERRIBLE dice rolls (and a lack of Adrenaline tokens) resulted in ONE horde completely eliminating me from the game!
You do a great job explaining the games, wish you had more engagement on your channel. Try engaging your audience, a lot of successful you tubers do livestreams, ask the commenters to choose the next review or add comedic skits to the video. if you can manage to get more likes and comments you will see more views. Check out your competition to get an idea of what direction to move towards
