    If I could add a new cave biome to Minecraft, I think I would add crystal caves. Basically a larger version of the geode. And with even more crystals.

    I would love to see a fungal equivalent of the lush caves (the deep dark is arguably fungal caves, but the wrong kind), with all kinds of fancy fungal stuff. Slimes would spawn in that biome similarly to how they do in swamps, because slime mold my dude.

    • @defloirgreene5428
      @defloirgreene5428 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      they actually rejected that idea given how overdone fantasy themed glowing mushrooms are in the video game world. Still, it would look cool for a fungal cave(maybe less on the "enchanted" side, to be more realistic)

      @KJ7Tillymann 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’m honestly tired of slimes being everywhere underground.
      We already have slime chunks and we’ll be getting a slime spawner in the new 1.21 underground structure (which seems to be the size of a biome)
      Like do we really need to encounter another biome where slimes are more common?

    • @Glory2Snowstar
      @Glory2Snowstar 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      But slime mold isn’t actually a mold 🤓☝️

    For the small drip leaf use shears, no enchants needed on them. Also if you leave the lush caves they will grow again. Another way you can get the small drip leaf is by wandering villagers. Don't forget to use bone meal.

      If you use bonemeal on the small one it just turns into a big one…

    • @MattTOB618
      @MattTOB618 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +10

      I just looked it up, and no, Small Dripleaves do not regrow under any circumstances, not even on Bedrock Edition. You cannot bonemeal them, as that turns them into Big Dripleaves; bonemealing the caves will not generate new ones; and they only naturally generate when the chunks are first created.
      But you are right about using shears to harvest, and the Wandering Trader selling it.

    I feel like a volcanic cave system is another great idea Mojang could tap into. something like the aquifer but with Lava exclusively near volcanic mountains, or a hot spring aquifer that merges some of both the dripstone caves and lush biomes with something like the caldera biomes from terralith. Volcanos are freakin' cool, and they deserve more representation in Minecraft. could be a great opportunity to add some more interactions and uses with lava and magma in the overworld, and a place to find blackstone and basalt too. and they could add things like geysers and lava plumes, which could be an exciting and dangerous new hazard to encounter. and we could find cooled lava caves under extinct volcanos, and there could be crystal growth of new crystals there (since a lot of crystals require heat and pressure to form).

    If I had a biome to add it would be a glow worm and underground mushroom cavern, forms in ravines covered by solid blocks

    It would be awesome if they put some redstone weapons like the TNT cannon and the world eater down in the ancient city, but make it so the machines are only partially intact to give the city like a post war feeling. Maybe the inhabitants of the city got into some kind of catastrophic war with The Warden? 🤔

    You encountered the main problem I have with dripstone caves - mobs spawn like crazy there and it's full of blocks that can hurt you. Perhaps they'll be more worthwhile after we get all the new copper blocks in 1.21.

      Dripstone is actually super useful, especially for lava farms in Java. In Bedrock, I believe you could use them for infinite potions in 1.17 or so?

      @@magnumra3911 I should have clarified I was thinking about the fun of exploring each of these respective cave biomes. Both the lava and potion farms only require the player to visit the edge of a dripstone cave and get enough for the farm. (And dripstone itself can then even be farmed.) So the pain-vs-reward of exploring a dripstone cave is a bit high at the moment. And yeah, the Warden is a problem in the Deep Dark but the XP farming is worth the risk. XD

    1) idk how you got a copper-less dripstone cave, when i find them there’s always a TON of copper and 2) are there weird spawning mechanics for axolotls on bedrock? bc i very rarely find them it makes me so sad
