Batter is pretty strong, but how do you beat the manifestation of guilt and trauma itself. Even as a powerful warrior. Most just die to Omori unless they are literally kind enough to help him or strong enough to literally defy reality or perhaps just rewriting memories would work. Whatever the case, brute force doesn't work against Omori. He cannot be killed that way.

Also, purification won’t work as you need to kill Omori first, but he basically has a passive Focus Sash from Pokémon and a auto heal after every time he holds on, so that ain’t happening.

Both just sick kids living in twisted false world created as way to hide from trauma. Hugo in this way have more based trauma because of sickness - its more existential than emotional trauma of Omori. Because it have more objective reasons.

Because its not canon that omori loses even once, its a game mechanic, its not like undertale that its canon where you turn back time when u die, theres a reason that when you lose in a fight as sunny you dont die or turn back time, cus its meant to be, and also because its the real world lol
@@r221grace i think its because its the only safe place where mari can't be hurt (or die), that's why you always see here in a picnic sharing food whit friends even in sweethearts jail, omori doesn't want mari to interact whit the adventures you have because its dangerous, so what does he do?, break's mari's leg so she can't run or walk too much, basically a picnic basket is the sense of safety that's why you can save and load there or you can load in your menu, well i yapped enough i hope you like my explanation because i could be wron anyway lol
Omori is kinda cheating here. His "Didn't Succumb" ability should've only triggered once. But then again he didn't succumb against Sunny multiple times so it works the same here. I just saw another version of this matchup, Batter won in that one though.

That was awesome. I especially loved the backgrounds and different areas in the fight. And I loved it got even more serious and intense at the end.
Canonically the batter doesnt have a way to revive like omori or turn back time like frisk but i liked the creativity on how omori got the dub
