God's idea of resting in Him is not just merely that we receive just enough to make it through our day with enough peace and joy.....but that we come to realize that HE IS LOVE....and we know by his word that love is patient...love is kind...love covers a multitude of sins, is everything he wants to produce in us as we yield our functioning lives over to him, allowing him to fill us with every good and perfect attributes that flow from the love in his heart for us.

Sometimes our struggles seem to not get resolved in certain areas for a long time. Although I have experienced supernatural interventions countless times I have ongoing difficulties to experience His Love emotionally, most likely through an abusive Father. The Lord told me that he " is going to nurse me into His Love", which implies a more prolonged process. Hope this might help someone to not give up if something seems to shift only gradually in increments as opposed to more spontaneous breakthroughs. Thomas
