I've been an ICU RN for many years. Never understood compliance and resistance as clearly as I do now with your explanation. Just wow. Thank you!

Let me say I massively appreciate you
And you are a fantastic person ❤
Thank you so much now I undestanded the increased compliance like emphysema low compliance like ards
And high airway resistance leading to increased pip
    Thank you very very much

Great understanding of concepts. As half of world medical fraternity don't know these . And this is the big reason of lung injury and reason of death in covid 19 .

Outstanding presentation. Does increasing Resistance which increases PIP causes increasing inspiratory time and decreasing exp time which ultimately decreases actual RR causing decrease in MV and increase in PaCO2? Thank you for all your efforts.

Sir, plz tell me difference between breath stacking and flow hungry, in pressure graph they look like same and creating confusion because same dip there. In flow hungry case there is no breath initiates.
    Plz take away my confusion.

Hi there. I have a question about the difference between Inspiratory flow and Ramp. For example in Neonatal ventilation the old babylog 8000+ works with an Inspiratory flow where the babylog vn600/800 works with an Ramp. I am trying to figure out to explain the differences but kinda stuck. Can you help? Greeting from the Netherlands!
