I recently went to Gulmarg, Kashmir for a weekend. It's a must visit place. I took a direct Spicejet flight from Mumbai to Srinagar and then drove 60 kms from Srinagar to Gulmarg. I stayed in Rosewood hotel which was very nice and centrally heated.

TIME STAMPS
0.32 - Hotels and facilities in Gulmarg (Book hotel in Rs 2500 to Rs 10,000 per night inclusive of breakfast and dinner buffet. Khyber is the best and most expensive hotel in Gulmarg starting from Rs 25,000 upwards a night)
2.24 - Essential clothes and accessories for -5 degrees temp and snow activities
4.47 - World's second highest cable car (Gondola Ride for Rs 740)
6.06 - Snow activities like skiing, snowmobile, sledging (cost of all activities is Rs 2000 onwards)
9.47 - Visit to Drung village which is 12 kms from Gulmarg ( Mini trip cost Rs 2500)
11.30 - Gulmarg market and dhaba food (Eat veg food at Bhat dhaba and try Northwind cafe)

I'm from Kashmir and I usually visit Gulmarg and other beautiful places in kashmir but the place I come from in kashmir is paradise within paradise and this place is called "LOLAB" land of love and beauty. Lolab is less explored place but I'm sure one day it will be visitors first choice.

@@544yaasmin8 no man not surely. In June it's not snowing in Kashmir. But if it rains consistently then may be, high altitudes like gulmarg may receive snowfall

When l went to Kashmir and also visited Gulmarg I also stayed in the same hotel and travelled in cable car to phase 1only.

But fr it was damn worth it
