Thank you so much for showing the app while you discussed the features. It’s awesome, and why I prefer your videos over others. So many channels don’t do that, and it’s so annoying lol. I feel that, especially for SoFi, while their marketing their financial services, they also marketing their user interface (web or mobile app). So highlighting both in one video is a win-win for me. 😊

My nitpick with the Bill Pay feature is there is no way to skip this month's payment. If you want to skip the next payment, you have to delete and re-create it to start the next month.

Thank you so much! As a Cap One, One Finance, and Brick & Mortar customer, there are features from each that others don’t have. A couple of things I’m still awaiting from SOFI is:
iPad OS app to leverage landscape mode for keyboard functionality.
Calendar to display monthly view of planned paychecks and bills.
Sub-goals within a vault along with goal dates for each.
One Finance offers a lot but recently lost many features when being absorbed by Walmart. They also don’t have interest-bearing checking.
Please let us know if the features above do get added to any FinTech.
    Cheers
    Michael Amir

I'm confused about depositing cash. Do I select anything like a barcode/QR code for the cashier to scan that connects to my account?

Amazing breakdown! After a bit of research I was on the fence between making the switch from One Finance to Ally or SoFi. Your videos were the last straw and helped make the jump to SoFi. I definitely love consolidating my finances in one app.

Great video! Love to see detail how to use the app. So many options and features are hidden. Keep up with the good work and hope you can also make more video on Sofi platform. BTW how can you get 0 fees in some locations for deposit cash?

Does the split paycheck feature for Autopilot allow you to just default a percentage of a deposit to your savings and not a vault within savings?

I've been trying to keep my protein high so what I do is instead of making my wrap with a traditional flour wrap, I use ham. 🤷‍♂ Now, carbs are definitely a heck of a lot more delicious, but this helps me hit my goal. 👍

I wish they had the vaults or pockets feature under the checking account with like a virtual card so I could split up my bills better. But I also wish you could have both a personal and a shared account instead of just one or the other

Can SoFi also take an specific amount of money from a different bank account? Let’s say I have a capital one account. Can SoFi take 100 dollars from that account if I provided it the routing number and account number?

My favorite thing about the peer to peer transfer is that non SoFi customers have to wait several business days to get their money in their bank account. I hate that Zelle does it instantly……
    …said no one.

My favorite feature is UNLIMITED overdraft protection. You can keep a checking account balance of $0 and still make payments if you have money in your 4% APY savings account. For this reason, I keep all my non-invested money in my savings.

did my absolute best to open an account with SoFi. Setup an account, changed my direct deposit, verified my account, etc. After all of that, they flagged my account as fraudulent and closed it. They made it damn near impossible to get support so I finally said eff it and went back to BOA.

So a couple things. First off, Columbia is terrible lol. We have them here in PA as well. Second, we’ve had SoFi for about 6 months now and we’re getting ready to switch back because of a couple of key reasons with the first of which being lack of Zelle. P2P is a decent stopgap measure but what you’ve left out is that P2P to other financial institutions takes a series of days and when xferring over to my Schwab investing account, days is too long and I’d rather have Zelle. Along with that, a lot of people on this end specifically use credit cards and just make about 5 purchases on debit per month…none of which swipes a debit card. I feel for my mileage, SoFi isn’t that great. I’ll probably be switching to a Capital One 360, where I can retain 90% of my useful SoFi features and be able to pick up Zelle.

Get more views talking about how bad their banking is. Sofi is a joke. No free cash withdrawal as advertised. Can't pay bills with the card. The card is practically useless. Not to mention that customer service will hang up on you if you bring this up.

  • @Ciborium
    @Ciborium 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

More people have Zelle or Venmo than SoFi. Their P2P system is just a way to *trick* people to install and use the SoFi app.
Also, instead of paying a fee to deposit cash, just get a free checking account at a local credit union. Deposit cash. ACH funds to SoFi. Super easy, barely an inconvenience.

    • @SueroNetwork

that's Pointless & way to many steps better off just paying the fee to get the cash on the sofi account because the money hits your account instantly most banks take up to 1 to 2 business days to transfer the money also...... why open up an extra bank account? ....to deposit cash then send it to another account ...when you could of just put cash on the original Sofi account ...I get what your saying but some things its best not to cheap out on ..its way more of a hassle to open up another account ....plus a lot of places don't charge a fee like Walgreens to put cash on your card
