Another great vid, and yeah i completely agree, they gave bro more seasoning but we lost the sauce on the way, the combos still look pretty fun, but low key I'm probably gonna pivot to elphelt as my secondary, and testament will probably always be the main (until they drop someone even cooler like maybe venom when he releases or god willing my boy answer)
Thanks so much for watching! That’s a great way to put it… Sin just feels more restrictive than ever before. Good luck with the swap to Elphelt, she got some really fun changes this patch!
Learning sin now, have been playing strive for 3 weeks and have chosen testament. I am having fun but wanted to try something else. Do you happen to know if dustloop is updated? I tried the first combo but couldn't connect the final part c.S > 5H > 236H~H > (66 > c.S > 6H > 236K). The one in the parenthesis. I dash but then cs seems not to hit
Hey, thanks for the comment! Sin’s Dustloop page looks to be half-updated at the moment, there’s a notice at the top of the main page saying that the information is out of date, but I took a look and most of the overview and combo pages seem to be current. Now for the combo you described, it definitely works. My suggestion would be to manually time the c.S after 236H~H~66, since mashing moves after Gazelle Step is kinda inconsistent in my experience. While the combo does work and is great if corner carry is your desired outcome, I would actually typically go for c.S, 5H, 623S~S, microdash, c.S, 2H, 236K. It uses one less bar of Stamina and gives Sin far better pressure afterwards since he’s left closer to the opponent after the combo, but it doesn’t have as much corner carry. I’ve attached a recording of both combos here so you can get an idea of the timing. th-cam.com/video/XbbVCr4V6fU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RaWzKeq-P9cz9VXy Thanks for watching, and good luck out there!
Couldnt agree more with your thoughts, he really does feel less fun even if he is stronger overall. I personally would've loved if instead they made his combos from CH follow ups better instead of just making everything convert all the time at the cost of stamina. Would also hella appreciate just some more disjoint on beak driver (I really miss Xrd beak driver im sorry)
I felt the same as you for a while, but honestly after a month or so of playing the patch, my harsher feelings have subsided a little. After I sat down and learned some tech (and started actually paying attention to managing Stamina) I started enjoying the enhanced freedom in combo routing and the insane corner carry he gets off of almost anything now… BUT I think such a radical shift in playstyle is still a baffling choice considering he’s been in the game since Season 2. As someone who’s only been playing Strive since halfway through Season 3, I can’t imagine how this feels for people who’ve been playing the character for years, but since it’s something we just have to accept, I can deal with it. I do definitely agree about Beak Driver though… a little disjoint would be nice. Thanks so much for watching!
@@meemawgotback hey thanks for the work on the video! I dont see much coverage on S4 sin personally so this is great, hope its not too discouraging for you having to remake your previous guide from scratch. Hope I can learn to like him more like you say, theres definitely a lot of new cool stuff there, guess I just dont agree with arcsys' vision for our boi. Ive been playing him since he released and I dont plan on changing mains anytime soon tho
I’m actually getting started on that script soon! Finals week is fast approaching for me so it might not be out for a hot minute, but I’ll do my best to get it out as soon as I can. The first one took me a lot of time, but I’m sure a second crack at it will be a lot easier.
No problem, and thank you so much for watching! I plan to keep dropping Sin videos on this channel, but in the meantime I hope your learning process goes well!
My bad on the reupload, the background music was way too loud. I hope you all enjoy!
Amazing video!
Thanks for watching!

Omg please we need answer season 5 I’m praying
@@Jwatch_82 I never played Xrd, but I’ve seen some of the stuff Answer gets up to and I gotta say… he’d be pretty sick.
Thank you for going so in depth on this
Glad I could help. Thanks for watching!
