I swear, this band has made some of the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard.
They have such a Crosby, Stills and Nash harmony at times. I fucking love these guys.
Wow idk why this stood out to me so strongly but in every other performance he sings “oh, brother of mine” but in this one he says “older brother of mine”
And now that’s the only way I sing it lol
I saw them right after this album came out at the Independent in SF, a small 500 person venue. I couldn’t believe his voice. Was a spiritual experience. This will go down as one of the best bands of the generation.
wow this is from 15 years ago. still sounds so damn fresh. the sound of this album hasn't been heard since then, not even from fleet foxes themselves.

Driving around the Rupununi Savannahs in Guyana listening to Fleet Foxes' White Winter Hymnal, Mykonos and Blue Ridge Mountains. one of the best things one can do.

The Perfection is beyond me
I don't know about the Woodstock reference lol, but they are a phenomenal band beyond any shadow of a doubt. Robin is a genius and they're sound is so genuine which is what made me fall in love with them. Can't wait to see what they've done on this new album!
