Valt Aoi there are many benefits to no rubber these can include:
-Cheaper production
-More balanced against hasbro beys
-Rubber would burst it alot because of how hasbro has slopes instead of teeth which means that it is much easier to burst, the friction from the rubber colliding would burst fafnir within the first few seconds of contact with another bey.
Valt Aoi forgot to mention that since hasbro is targetting more western audiences there is a stereotype that children in the west love to see things break and that’s why they make hasbro beys so easy to burst.

It's way past irritating that Fafnir didn't get rubber like it's supposed to: I mean no metal due to SlingShock is one thing, but NO RUBBER ON FAFNIR?! WHAT??? HOW CAN YOU DO THAT: IT'S FAFNIR! I am beyond sick and tired of how much Hasbro is changing the beys, especially after I saw what they're doing with the Rise beys: the only thing I like about Sword Valtryek is that it's faster. And I'm a Metal fan who thinks Burst is inferior in comparison. Despite all this, I still get them in the app: I currently have Fafnir, who will be my new main at some point, and I'm still looking forward to getting Rise beys, especially Valtryek next.

Instead of going out of your way to buy the giest fafnir set to get the proof frame just buy air knight and use that frame its cercular and when it’s spinning it looks like proof or you can buy the glaze frame from wyvorn and sand it down to be circular

Mr.Lt the wizard Fafnir from Hasbro will also have no rubber but where there is supposed to be rubber will have ridges to keep the spin stealing ability I'm going to work for Hasbro when I'm older so I can provide you with metal and rubber beyblades

Absorb’s free spinning plate is so loose, it drags down while it’s in the stadium battling. Causing very slight scrapping, so it looses spin duration.
