Hi Anurag, here's a small story related to this chaos : 1.5 year ago, almost same thing happened with my father driving a car, a random car braked suddenly on a Highway, my father immediately squeezed breaks, and then right after the braking, he escalated the car, so that the vehicle behind our car does not strike. That bus was going straight btw, that activa guy slowed down and you cant just stop in the middle of a busy traffic, if you break the flow, you get hit, thumb rule of traffic, dont break the flow all of a sudden without signalling

4 years ago, the same incident happened with me except that I was directly hit by the bus from behind. Thankfully, in my case the driver got scared, pulled over to the side immediately and sincerely apologised. Also nothing serious happened to me or my bike. So I let him go.
