Songs and Thongs react to Rammstein performing "Du Hast" in France during their "Made In Germany 1995-2011" tour. The video footage is taken from the DVD / Blu-ray live album "Rammstein: Paris", released May 19th 2017. It was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, the revered Swedish film director, screenwriter, music video director, and drummer. The video was created using 30 cameras and recorded in front of 17,000 people.
Rammstein is a Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in 1994 in Berlin, Germany. "Du Hast" (You Have) is the 5th track on their 2nd studio album "Sehnsucht", released August 22nd 1997. As showcased in this video, the band is especially well known for their spectacular live performances, making such significant use of pyrotechnics, that their fans eventually coined the motto, "Other bands play, Rammstein burns!"

I saw them in Chicago over Labor Day weekend in 2022. I've been to dozens of concerts over the years and I can't think of a single one that was better than this show. The tickets were expensive and worth every penny. It was the best sounding concert in that large of a venue. The theatrics and pyrotechnics were mind blowing. And they played for a little over 2 hours. It was incredible.

Sorry you missed it boet. I got tickets in 2011 for the JHB show. We were in the golden circle at the dome. The best concert I had the privilege attending. The fireworks were spectacular and you could feel the heat as they flew over your head. The energy and sound quality was just amazing. Love Rammstein!
Try "Ich tu Dir Weh" from Madison Square Garden or "Deutschland", official video, masterpieces! And the power is still there, I was in two concerts this Juni. Everyone should see and feel (!) them in his life.😉Greetings from Germany!

Rammstein didn't come out of nowhere. When I first heard them, I definitely recognized the genre, which was popular in the eighties. Kraftwerk were the pioneers, my favorite in the genre is "Life is life" with Laibach. Maybe not representative but funny.
...and their latest album "Zeit", and the masterpieces "Angst" and "Zeit"-videos!! And the"Engel"-live in Madison, Duetschland video... Ahh, I can just go on and on....

If i remember right Flake walks something around a 5k or 3~ miles every show and it's estimated Flake has walked about 781 Kilometers(close to 500 miles) on his treadmill since 2009.
If I could give you a tipp: live: Rammsong video clips: Zeit, Deutschland, Radio or Angst!

I was very lucky to go to this show in Paris.
It was bloody amazing, also me and my friends got Jizzed on by Till lol.
Always laugh at the treadmill comment. It is a Tesla coil. So yes, those are legit lightning.
The lightning coming out of Flake's fingers is special effects. This is from the concert DVD Rammstein Paris. The director used a lot of special effects.
The effect is in the show! They had a Tesla coil.
@@petrajakovac6409 Nope, not in Paris, that was a post-production effect. But they indeed did it once ... then decided it was just too dangerous, even for them. Very easy to grill yourself, if something goes wrong, or the current jumps over to another band member, who doesn't wear an insulation suit.
Regards from Germany .....Rammstein will give a New Year Concert in Munich 31.December on the Place where the Octoberfest will be.. 145000 People are there .. will be 5 !!! Hours . it will be sendet in all Europian Countrys on TV ...
